    GGina said they r doing software upgrade's in there data center. So it may be a all mightier.. maybe 5+ hr or more ;)

    very rare for them to do maintenance at 9pm PST. it may be midnight over on the east coast but they usually hold their maintenance at like 5am or something. 9pm is like....well geez I guess I'll go watch some fights on UFC fight pass or something to fill up the rest of my night.

    Yeah 9pm for me as well, it's ridiculous. Wish I had fight pass haha. I'll be playing gta5 I guess...

    They're trying to not effect prime time for all the megaservers, including EU.

    Eh, in mid-year when they bring in the Japanese server it should be better because then we'll have one in our time-zone. Of course, I'm not switching at this point.

    For this type of maintenance it can take a while to complete.

    Being in Melbourne I get a better ping to NA than JP anyway, + JP will probably ip block cause they're not racist or anything...

    They're prepping the PTS and hopefully the main servers for the Thieves Guild DLC and the 64 bit client. Hopefully the software upgrade will bring better functionality and stabulate to the game and fix some of the lag issues people have been complaining about.
