Wrothgar Disconnect Issues

Is there any plan to address the massive disconnects and dashboarding that has been plaguing Orsinium since launch? It actually seems to be getting worse with time. Just trying to turn in writs is exhausting, and trying to interact with the clothier bench is impossible. Even the problem with the city turning pink is an everyday thing now. If these can't be fixed, can we at least get an alternative drop off for the max writs? Thanks for your time.

This is something that looks like you need tech support. Not everyone is having this issue. And my guess is if someone else is having a pink screen there might already be a thread worth searching. Maybe make a thread in the support forums will help. You can post your platform and such and get better help.

Everyone in my guild reports these issues and I have experienced them myself on Xbox. I don't even go into Orsinium anymore. I can enter Wrothgar via the Shatul Wayshrine, ride into Orsinium from the closest gate to the crafting turn-in location and be disconnected and sent to the dashboard before I can even turn in the writ. It's rare that I can go from outside Orsinium to the guild bank without at least one disconnect. The missions have become unplayable and I pray the same issues don't plague Thieves' Guild.

I am on Xbox NA and it is an issue with the clothing station in Wrothgar. I crash out once a day attempting to interact with it. As a work around now I pick up and complete the writs in a different city and only go to Wrothgar to turn in.

I've never had this before tonight, I went to do the crating writs and as I tried to use the clothing table in worthgar I got kicked to the Xbox dashboard. Now if I try to log in as that character I can be on for maybe 20 seconds with pink walls and then get booted to the dashboard again

Xbox One, Orsinium in Wrothgar is boot central. Crafting areas are especially apt to send you back to dashboard. Most of Wrothgar outside Orsinium seems OK for the most part. Just don't dare step into a crafting area!

Funny thing is I thought the random pinks and purples on the buildings were part of some creative licensing given to developers. I have seen it in a other locations. Actually thought it looked kind of cool tbh.

No, this is a big issue on console. Every time you travel to Wrothgar to complete writs these dashboards happen. Basically, you'll be riding through or trying to complete the writ at a table and the game crashes and throws you to you console's home screen. You then have to log in again, rinse and repeat until its all completed.

I dashboarded 4 times in a row the other day, I'd log back in to that character and since he was still in Wrothgar it would immediately dashboard again, and again. All ESO DLC on console is broken.

Same issue for me on NA XB1, especially with the clothing station in Orsinium. I had been doing all my writs in Stormhold instead and just coming to Orsinium to turn them in which had been working pretty well. After the most recent patch I thought I'd give it another shot.

Nope. Still no crafting in Orsinium and the occasional pink and purple buildings.

so with no reference to console it's kind of hard to know what platform you are talking about. anyways, hope it can get fixed soon for you.

Must be an XBox issue. I play on PC and have never experienced disconnects or lag. Not one time.

Any word that ZOS is aware of this issue and Xbox players should not expect the same issues with the Thieves' Guild DLC?

Crashing Orsinium drives me nuts.
I get done what I have to and make haste out.
It sucks having to do this.

Not just Xbox, I get booted 2, 3, 4 times a day travelling through the city on PS4. Almost always happens soon after exiting a crafting table, banker screen, or merchant. Sometimes I make it half way to the writ turn in locations.

Never seen the pink/purple thing though. Maybe that's not a thing on PS4.

Well, the big problem maybe the main cause of the lag, problems is the zerg groups doing the world bosses. basically they require lots of people to do and it strains the zone, because of the use of abilities and everything. Most likely hopefully they will fix this with the thieves guild update because they are working on the root of the problem or have been I think.

The pink/purple thing usually happens after you've been kicked and relog. It appears that horrible color combo until you leave the zone, relog, and come back into the zone. Of course, you can't port directly into Orsinium or your chances of getting kicked again are extremely high.

Basically, you've got a timer. Must get in and out of Orsinium in less than 3 minutes or else you're kicked. (Maybe it's training for thieves guild?)

Its been all over the support forum for weeks now but no response from Zos other than try hard resetting your xbox LOL. But theres still hope with the theives guild patch coming.

This happens to me daily, i put in a help ticket daily, and they wrote back that i shoud uninstall and reinstall, i did that 2x now. NO FIX..... wish i could play the new DLC.....

Just wondering, did you buy the DLC or just have ESO PLus??? because i just have ESO Plus and if i walk into the Main City in Wrothgar i make it about half way through the city and boom dashboard, with ANY of my 8 toons. They get stuck there because the second i load in and take a step i get kicked to dashboard. (if i can even load in at all) I have had to open Tickets to get my Toons teleported out of Wrothgar sooo many times now. I tried to Give it another shot today after my 2nd Uninstall/Reinstal and im stuck again..... SUCH BS

Yeah, to be honest I left the game after Thieves Guild hoping they would get things fixed with DB, but looks like things have only gotten worse. Between Orsinium, Grahtwood, Abah's Landing, and now Gold Coast, getting disconnected is just about the only thing I get to do sometimes. It's really frustrating when I get dashboarded before I can even log in. @ZOS_GinaBruno if you're out there, is there any hope of addressing these issues? This is the only game on my Xbox where I have these issues.
