VMA On Console..

I wouldn't describe it as difficult nor would I describe it as broken.

But as console players we're lacking a huge amount of UI to enable us to run this on a regular basis or especially me personally being mainly a PVP player. Malestrom should of been dropped along with additional UI for console such as the amount of damage we're dealing, taking and when our buffs are up and down. VMA is hard enough with the UI the first few go's let alone without it and people completing this without a death on console deserve some real *** credit.

The amount of times I have been to the last boss and rage quit is incredible, so I had to let this off my chest :(

    yes it tough, but its amazing as well,

    I have completed it on all three of my classes on PS4 and i can say its not the addons, apart from the fact you cant see how much overload you have saved on my sorc.. that i find annoying.

    That last boss is just a pain sometimes, I find him harder on my stamina nightblade.... I dont know why but he played havoc with me at the weekend like being stuck in the lava after being knocked off the ledge oh well.....

    Keep at it mate your get there in the end, i find my toughest enemy in VMA was myself and trying to calm myself down after i keep wiping :) ...... after a while it becomes muscle memory and you clear it with 0-3 deaths no problem.

    The biggest issue is the dam LAG in there ........

    I think you will find vids that suggest.....its broken, but not just for Consoles.

    I will say this tho.....in my experiences, the debuffs and dmg isn't why I'm dying.
    Often times its lag, and partly my slow reactions but also this encounter is very unforgiving and per ZOS, its suppose to be for the elite players.

    I'm not elite so....I'm happy that I'm getting past even one boss or two

    But I find when you deal with the lag (in an instance lag in an instance ZOS)? You lose animations and that on console is the only possible way of telling your buffs are still up whilst trying to keep an eye on all the one hit mobs running riot!

    Well to be clear, unless someone is using add-ons, both PC and console wont display anything different.

    vMSA is just a crap-shoot unless you are hardcore as often times, even knowing the mechanics, having the DPS, strategy, potions, food buffs....you will die very often cause this game is particularly buggy.

    No saying anything is wrong with your ask, just wanted to clear a few things up as it seems often that on console (I play on Xbox One, but began on PC and transferred over) players seem to think that PC default has UI info that console doesn't as far as gameplay

    I'd just like a target lock option for ps4 my only issue is when adds stack and you can't prioritize the way you want and it throws the whole round into a spam fest with your fingers crossed praying for survival lol

    on Xbox One, we hold down he right thumbstick....I hope you all have this option too...it highlights the target in white glow

    You shouldn't need target lock. If you have time to lock on and wait for them you're doing it too slow. Speed and burn is key.

    Very true normally bye the time I hit stage 9 meteor doesn't drop from the sky but the ground effect works ground fire has a red tinge on the ground but shows no waves details are missing everywhere from the spikes on the crem guard.

    Also buff timer are very important can't tell with power surge up and in lightning form if my c frag proc most the time.

    CAN'T tell when rally up during a hectic fight can't tell when relentless focus up cause ui effects get stuck 9n your weapon on console can't tell when siphon attacks up so many small issues that could easily be remedy

    As always give us a option to turn it of

    When it comes to buffs i always keep a timer up in my head naturally after playing your character long enough you should remember to buff ........... im a little OCD so i probably end up over buffing a lot no harm in this though.

    When you have run VMA enough times you start to know exactly when things will spawn that will one shot you for instance Stage 7 round 4 i tend to pick up defense buff after first round of adds as i know 3 archers will spawn. Also you will start to remember when to or not to buff yourself inside VMA.

    Im still no expert my best run so far has had 4 deaths two of them i was unable to cast due to LAG.

    But dont get me wrong im not saying its easy it just gets a little easier with time , My first few runs on VMA were awful i truly thought i was never going to run it again on Stage 5 round 3 ....

    My point is keep trying, try not to rage quit and your slowly learn mechanics.

    Get to the boss in less than 15 deaths no problem, that final one though! Jheez.

    yep i feel you mate like i said i dont play on my nightblade that much in pve and this weekend he took me for 35 deaths before i got him .... I find him a lot easier on my templar or sorc the trick is to never miss a ghost and dont let those dam summoners get to the middle. I would mainly dps the boss after i stack the daedroth on top off the boss after spectral explosion so my super would hit both targets at once.

    Out of interest how far were you getting ? did you get all 3 crystals down ?
