WE NEED POST-CREATION CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION!

In my time playing, I have grown bored of my character's look! I want to be able to visit a barbers to change my hairstyle or use some amazingly illusive and mysterious (but not hard to access) magical shrine to alter my character's face and body. Adding the dye station was a big leap to this customizability I know everyone longs for, but it's just not cricket! (awesome English metaphors).

Without a change like this, in order to play as someone new, players have to create entirely new characters and go through all of what they have already again. It seems like such a minor thing yet impacts so much. Maybe, you could model it off the skill reassignment system; pay a little to change your skills. Hell, it could even be a dwemer plastic surgeon or a daedric deitie of vanity! Just something that adds that flair of flavor.

Much love :heart::heart::heart::heart:

PS: You might want to look into a divorce system....

Dead horse or not, I'm signing this petition again.

Get to it, zenimax. Let us fix those stupid character changes you forced on so many players, or go back and correct mistakes made in character creation from the time when we couldnt zoom in at all in the creator screen.

I'm still hoping to get all that as a sneaky Christmas gift from ZOS with 1.6
How crazy would that be @ZOS_GinaBruno‌ ?
It doesn't have to be groundbreaking at first, just a NPC granting access to the same customization page that everyone envoyed during character creation, except this time players have had time to ponder their choices.

    Examples:
    - That big tatoo all over your face might have seemed cool at first but now you twitch every time you see a mirror.
    - There were no references for character size and you created a giant or a midget by accident.
    - Vampirism "slightly" changed the aspect of your character and now you want to be more adapted to it.
    - That haircut is 8 months old. Does Ayled magic prevent hair growth? Is @ZOS_JasonLeavey‌ so jealous of the game's hairstyles that the option of a barbershop is getting delayed?
    - You specifically designed your character to look like a real prison escapee. Gaunt eyes, untrimmed beard, you looked perfect in Coldharbour. Nonetheless, now that you saved Tamriel from the planemeld, you don't want the statue in your honor to display a hobo.

I never got why no mmo than perfect world allows you to enter character customization again within 2 days to change your character

perfect allows this as much as you'd like within 2 days of creation so you can fix your character, then they have it in their cash shop for those who wants to change it after

If your friend isn't coming back declare them dead with the authorities, pawn the ring and go find another partner. Or just find another partner cuz you can be married to lots of different characters at the same time.

I hate my character's body type it looks like some 13-16 year old, if you like to eat, drink and exercise or do labor work, something is gotta happen to your body eventually. Teenager Scroll Online, nuff said. Its so shame really, we have tons of cool costumes, armors, styles but the body type is just unforgiving.

What's up with all the threads being necro'd today?

Anyways, yes, we need post-creation character customization and a wider variety of hair colors to go with it.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

PPl are going to give you a hard time because its been discussed many times and finally ZOS shared that something like this will come in the future.

I think we all agree that this should be present already....ZOS' ways don't seem to make sense to many of us

The! Horse! Is! Faking! It!;)

Yeah, yeah, yeah... we have been whining about the need for character recustomization for... well, since launch, really.

And nowadays they keep telling us in their "road ahead" announcement that they are working on it, and that it will come later this year. much later this year.
Longer term, expect to see information about systems like a character customization shop so you can change your character's gender, appearance, name, etc., player housing, and other systems that we'll announce in the future. We'll have much more information about all of these as the year progresses.
And then we will whine louder again that we really, really need it Sooner! And that we'd be ready to spend good crowns on this, and why won't they take our money, but wait with the implementation until some of us are feeling really vexed for having to wait so long before they could correct some small imperfections on their characters, or redo them completely because they had a better idea, or whatever...
