Whats more important for trials ?

Hi im currently running a DPS sorc with 4.5k spell damage fully buffed up , my recovery is only 950 and i was wondering whats more important , higher dps or better sustain , my logic is in a 12 man group i can afford to use skills that lower my hp to regain magicka and healers will keep me up ? what do you guys think?

One of the healers should have elemental drain up 100%, orbs as well, use synergies also. You want to go full dps spec if you are dps.

Elemental Drain, Siphon Spirit and Mystic Orbs are your best friends. My regeneration is even below 900 and it still works out, if the healer does his job right.
