@ZOS_GinaBruno will come here to let you know working as intended just like jabs not applying proper damage on shields since passive can't be proced on shields lol. Sadly best bet reroll. Templars are a waste of space in this game.

Yesterday I was lvling my magplar and I had a problem that my charge AND Sweeps often wouldn't hit even though the animation goes off correctly, I started to suspect it's because my character is too high, lol. Because on my wood elf I never had this problem.

Look at some of the dates on those searches. By this time a year had already gone by.

Later on they said it wasn't a bug, it was a global cooldown and intended.

That was another year. Almost two years now and no fix.

The Templar issues thread got buried where it doesn't even come up if you comment on it.

Guys, I've quit the game and come back and it's still broken.

Before I left, solar flare was useless too, so I'm wondering if they fixed that or not? What used to be broken about it is that you should use solar flare which is meant to buff your next ability damage, then use sun fire and the damage increase wouldn't apply since the sun fire would get there before solar flare xD

I also really hope that toppling charge is fixed soon. It's a very fun skill to use when working correctly, but it's extreamly frustrating when it jams and I am unable to use any skills for 5+ seconds. ZoS, please give us an update on your efforts regarding toppling charge if you can.

It's not just toppling charge. Explosive charge has the same problems. It's even more annoying when you can't attack after a fail attempt. Nothing is greyed out but you can't do anything except bend over and take the punishment lol.

I wish I had a running tally of the number of times I've used this skill and:

-had all my skills, normal attacks AND blocking not work afterwards
-wound up in the floor/in a wall/in the ceiling/outside the map in general
-had it hit for no damage
-had my next skill hit for no damage

This skill is a hot, buggy mess, in both PvP AND PvE.

Edit: that pesky auto correct.

There are plenty other Templar skills in equally bad shape. It's nice and all that ZOS wanted to give the class some unique flavour, but if they can't get the wonky mechanics on the skills to work, they need to remove and replace them by something simpler they actually can get to function properly.

The POCFKAJB ( piece of crap formerly known as jezuz beam ) alone must have had more bugs in the few months since it hit the PTS than the entire Amazon basin holds.
