Have you ever accidentally switched to first person view when trying to swap bars at a crucial time in combat? Like when you see a meteor flying and your reflect is on the back bar? You panic push the "left" dpad button, but you frantic push made you push "down" instead? BOOM 15k meteor!!!!!!
I propose a checkbox to lock into 3rd person view in the options menu, disabling the down dpad button so you don't go into first person by accident.
Going into first person during boss fights or pvp is catastrophic.

Yes please!!!! Many lifesaver abilities are on my back barThis would also free up the down dpad for something else. Personally I hate clicking the joystick to sneak, or clicking the joystick as a function in any game for that matter but being able to reassign a more crucial function to a floating free key by removing the third person toggle would be great. Personally I don't know anyone that ever has a dying need to swap between the views as most have a style they prefer to play in and swapping quickly really is useless.0

are you able to combine buttons, triggers, shoulders and d-pads into one of the 4 bottom mounted paddles?

A key can lock zoom in/out. When we need zoom in/out, press the key can release it.
