I have a concern regarding the new heist quests

It's been said on ESO live you can actually use invisibility potions to help you out in these quests to avoid being detected by the roaming NPCs. If that is the case, does it also mean a nightblade using cloak can outright ignore the mechanics for these quests using cloak? Because that would be just stupid. A magicka nightblade with enough magicka regen can pretty much permanently stay in cloak and have 40% increased movement speed as well if they have concealed weapon and a movement speed skill slotted. If cloak lets you bypass the NPC guards without being seen that would just be broken. Knowing ZOS, I'm concerned that might be the case, just have a look at how much fun a magicka nightblade can have in imperial sewers outright ignoring mobs while moving at the highest possible speed through the sewers, something no other class can do. Not to mention if you are fighting a nightblade and a bunch of mobs are around the nightblade can cloak and the mobs automatically drop aggro on them and aggro you instead. I've been on both sides of this, and while it is a lot of fun for the nightblade, it is not so much for other classes. I really hope this isn't yet another nightblades wet dream come true. It's the first thing I'm testing on PTS next week and if my fears turn out to be true, writing a heated ticket to the devs :D

The mobs shown in ESO live were said to be "clairvoyant", so I guess they can detect you regardless of cloak/invisibility if you go inside the circle area. They probably can detect you outside the circle the same way normal mobs can, which is where you'd either sneak, cloak or use a pot.

They say cloak won't work, so no problem. Only stamina build will be advantaged I think, but it's not much of a problem.

Who says? I haven't heard the devs talk about it on ESO live.

The NPCs will operate by "proximity detection", which means that Cloak won't work.

It's prob the same mechanic that the roaming bosses in IC have: Cloak/Stealth doesn't work on them once you get to close. You get auto-detected

Invisibility potions are coming to the game? Finally people can stop whining about the cloak. Now we need Potion of Shield/Protection too.

Speaking of potions. Ive started to use stamina and detect invisibility potions, maybe its just me both each potion should have a own cooldown. It just sucks, you use stamina potion and 10 sec, later you need detect invisibility potion, but you cant.

They show the NPCs having a blue ring around them, which they referred to as clairvoyance. "We have introduced clairvoyance to NPCs...and those NPCs always see thru stealth. No matter what you do, they will see it". - Rich Lambert, Creative director

Hope this alleviates your concern bro

i think the statement on the invis potions was about the other npcs in the areas, not the clairvoyant ones
