Can you make it so the +5% damage against bosses trait is a 2 piece instead of a 3 piece, because this just once again favors DW builds. Because this is what builds are going to look like:
5 piece Hundings
1 piece Molag Kena
3 Piece Trial Gear

However if you use a weapon that requires two hands you're gimped once again. So my request is that you either make that particular trait a 2 piece or even better, make it so that 2H, Bows, and staves count as a 2 piece rather than 1; as it is currently.

    +1 on this.
    Not for moving the 3 Piece Bonus to 2 Pieces but for giving twohanded Weapons 2 Setboni. The 5% Damagebonus at 2 Pieces will lead in 5x + 2 Kena + 2 new Set and Dualwield :wink:

    Tbh that 5% dmg boost is meh. You will do about 2% more dps on bosses than you would with a regular setup but you will lose ~3% dps on trash so in places where fighting trash is 60-70% of the raid the extra dps on trash will net you a higher total dmg over the entire trial anyway. Also that's only comparing 1 bonus to another bonus. If the other 3 set bonuses don't compete with hundings or night mothers then there will be 0 point to running this build.

    Wykkyds Outfitter or similar Addon anyone?
    What i have seen on ESO-Live and have experienced in Raids is that you almost everytime have that couple Seconds to change Gear and Skills between Trash and Bosses. Maybe not on the Bridge in SO or after the Bridge in HRC but almost everytime.
    We dont know what the 2 and 4 Pieces Bonus are and have to do the Math to find out which Gear Combination is the best. 5% more Dmg is huge but just if you already do good DPS. 5% from nothing is still nothing.
    Another Point are the Bosses. Zenimax said that the Bossfights will last longer and you have a lot off Mechanics to work with.A longer Bossfight will lead to Sustain Issues for Builds with 2 Molag Kena but Mechanics that will force you to dont do DMG for some Time will maybe give you the Time to regen your Resources.
    We will see it next week on PTS.

    I know it's a very slim chance but maybe we will get lucky and they add jewellery to the new trials sets, I think that would solve a lot of the problems and bring about a little more build diversity but i think they do need to look into the DW vs two handed thing it is becoming annoying losing a set bonus to move too two handed/ staves

    This is a good point worth to be tested and annalysed. Hope big theoricrafter and devellopers will take this in consideration before to take a final decision.

    Except they dont. Dual wielding weapons gives you 100% of the main weapons damage + 20% (+passive) of the off hand weapons damage. That means dual wielding weapons of the same quality and level compared to using a 2h melee weapon will always yield more weapon/spelldamage.
    Additionally ranged 2h weapons have the same damage as melee 1h weapons (at the advantage of range ofc).
