Fastest way to grind Alliance Rank?

My v16 is set with all his PvP goodies, however I have a vet 2 and vet 4 both magicka whom i want magicka detonation on . What is the best way to achieve this?

1) make a character and call it taresgos2
2) walk around any group raiding a keep and spam mutagen around the keep (around inner keep when its open) in circles until your alliance have the keep
3)stalk any group who raids keeps
4)when you see 2-3 big swords slot rapid manuver and rush there, spam mutagen to everyone and keep doing that until you win/lose
5)if faced by any 2-3 other faction people just run away and heal yourself, run to big groups always.

Well for vigor you need level 10 in the campaign class. And you need http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Alliance_Points that many for the rank you need. (Sorry on my phone links don't work properly)

You get more AP if you heal a zerg while outside of a group. That said, it's only a benefit if the zerg is actually taking damage so if you are following a competent zerg who is wiping the map with ease then you won't get very much AP. Try to follow a mediocre zerg or if there is no mediocre zerg available, join the good zerg's group so you at least get some AP for kills.

Buy 5 extra accounts. Get a character to level 10 on an enemy faction on all accounts. Guest on a campaign that's mostly dead (has been owned by the same faction for many days, etc). Make sure you're leveling the characters on your other accounts in the faction that owns that campaign.

Go capture a resource of an enemy-owned keep, port all your alts to that keep. Sit on the resource and run your alts to the edge of it. Go kill your alts with your main. By the time you are done killing all of them, the first will be worth full AP again.

Wait until after the patch for the best results. Solo kills will be worth 2k AP!

Note: this is the best way to grind AP. If you want to earn it the real way then you need to roll with a good guild and convince them to let you run your alts with them. This may be very difficult to achieve in its own right, so maybe running around spamming mutagen is better, idk.

the fastest possible way is:
be a nb with 6 siphoning skills slotted, healers habit set armor, Indarys Ensemble Set, ritual mundus, 100cp in blessed

then go to a buff server of your alliance, buy a *** ton of door repair kits, let a guildy shoot the door and repair

The fastest way to get alliance points en masse is to either be proficient at solo killing or by healing pugs that wipe at resources. The more damage you can heal the better.

If you can get into a competent group on a good server expect to make 20-30k AP per hour. 30k per hour is about 54 hours to get all skills unlocked.

It's 1,620,000 give or take for all alliance skills unlocked

If you have full gold v16 gear, 100 CP in healing, 67 in heal crit, and such, then Rapid Regen is better.

It will crit for over 2k on allies which provides a lot of AP once they player earns AP.

Joining a PvP guild helps. Choosing a campaign that is actively fought over and not all in our factions hand helps more. Healing is best if your character is set up for it, if not go with killing instead, and remekmber to AoE as much as you can for added deathdealer opportunities. As has been mentioned, support work also gains you some renown, and many people overlook that in their desire to kill enemy players. Just expect to spend a lot of time in PvP to earn your ranks - its slow going. But hey, go at it enough and you might even ahve a shot at emperor someday!

When in PvP, occasionally you will have a chance to drag a fight out instead go for a quick win. That is a good thing, as it farms more AP. When it goes otherwise, just move on and conquer what you can, before withdrawing again and hoping the other side has some people keen on earning AP too, so they might take it back for you to repossess the next day!

And remember... killing a cyrodil dwelve boss before going to PvP will boost your AP gain!

Other then those... there are no real shortcuts for earning AP. Just dash into th fray, and have at 'em. Take those mills, smithys, lumbercyards. Take those keeps. Grab those scrolls. Don't forget to have the daily missions to do and turn in.

And when the luck of the battlefield is not with you... Curse ZOS for giving AP only to the winners, and little to those who tried their best, but just were overmatched by enemy quality or quantity.

(Yeah, I wish the loosers would get, say, 25% AP for "nice try", that way more less-then-super-effective people might be tempted to go PvP, breathing more life into cyrodil...)

Not sure if anyone told you about a battle buff you get from killing a boss in a delve.

But the buff will grant you an increase in AP earned. So just go to a delve and kill a boss many delves in Cyro have multiple so not hard to find.

Im rank 29, and Ive played since PC-launch, so that should give you some understanding and Im far from casual player, but not HC either. Alliance Ranks are probably sickest Ive ever met, it beats old-school games hands down. They better not to make them easier, one day Im gonna get 50.
