Hi all,

Please someone can help me with my gear for my stamina dk dps?

I'm vet 5 ..and tried different builds...but don't know what gear to acquire besides the drops I found. Now I'm running a 2h/dual wield build. I almost maxed all the traits in crafting.

What is the best gear setup for this? Dropped and crafted .

5 hundings rage, 2/3 night mother (weapons and helm/shoulder) 1 molag kena and 3 agility. Both hundings and night mother is 6 traits.

Since you're only Veteran 5, don't bother with trying to get any monster sets just yet. Grind to the max level before you do!

For any of my Stamina characters that aren't VR 16, I have them use:

5x Hundings Rage (2x Infused, 3x Divines)
2x Ashen Grip (1x Infused, 1x Divines)
1x Ashen Grip 2H Axe (Sharpened)
2x Ashen Grip Dual Wield Swords (Sharpened)

As for the rings, I just use picked up green or blue ones that are Robust and enchant them with reduced Stamina cost.

You can also switch out the Ashen Grip set for the Night Mother's set, which instead of giving Health, you get bonus Critical.

Since you are V5, you may want to get two Kyne's Flight rings for a weapon damage bonus (and enchant them with whatever is useful).

They should be fairly cheap.

You'll do great with 5 Hunding and the rest night mothers as @Vildebill mentioned above. Also, since your a V5, don't waste time trying to run dungeons until later. For jewelry, look for +stamina with stamina cost reduction or you can always get a blue one re-enchanted as well. Anything to help your stamina costs or increase damage would be the best.

Ok, dude, so here's what I'm using as a stam DK.
5 pieces of medium Hunding's Rage armor, 2 pieces heavy Ashen Grip armor, 1 handed and shield of Ashen Grip and Two-hander of Ashen grip. in your case you gotta have both your dual wielded weapons be Ashen Grip. As for traits, I'm using Infused on big pieces, the get maximum increase from enchantment, and Impenetrable on all other pieces for PVP purposes, except for shield, which is Reinforced, since I have Shield Expert passive from Steed champion tree. Weapon traits are Sharpened. If you don't do PVP, replace Impen with Divines, extra weapon damage from warrior mundus never hurts you.
As I'm vet 16 , I'm using Agility jewelry, but if you're still under VR16, just find some jewelry with stamina regen and robust(which gives you stamina).
You could dump all ability points to Stamina, or you can mix between stam and health, (like 20 health and rest stamina). But your final goal after hitting VR 14 is to have 15k HP, so you would have 20k in Cyrodiil, and 20k+ stamina by default.
Enchant your armor according to your final goal, which is 15k HP 20k+ stam. For me it's all armor pieces enchanted with stamina.
I'm using warrior mundus stone to increase weapon damage, since stam regen is already fine, and is further increase with drinks.

Pretty much the same. Hunding's rage is a must have, agility jewelry, and it would be super cool if you could get your hands on 4 pieces of Morkuldin Set (which requires 9 traits researched to craft it)

@edorfeus Can you explain why you should have Divines trait on the armour only if you're not doing PvP? And why Impenetrable on it if you ARE doing PvP? I'm going for pretty much exactly what you said: 5 piece hundings, 3 piece ashen grip. Putting Divines on most of it. And I don't really do PvP. But I'm just wondering why Impenetrable is better than overall weapon damage for that?

It's simple. Impenetrable doesn't give you pretty much anything in PVE, but in PVP crits are huge and very frequent, especially nowadays, when everyone's running crit builds. So, if you have a slight increase in weapon damage from divines and warrior mundus stone in PVP, but you have no crit resistance and get killed from 2 wrecking blow crits or ambush or biting jabs, there's no use to that extra weapon damage, since you will die much faster. And in PVE extra weapon damage is always useful.
