Elemental expert champion point bugged?

When I put my cp into elemental expert the ui value for crushing shock doesn't change. But when I put the cp into thermatauge the tooltip values for magicka based skills eg frags does change. Is the ui bugged or the cp broken for elemental expert? It feels like more damage but with no damage values I can't tell. Any one able to assist me with this

as far as i know, the UI is bugged in regard to elemental expert. It works for the magic damage one however. Elemental expert works fine however, just doesnt show up

So.. suspected UI bug. Is there really no PC players with 6k gold and a dps meter addon who can give me a definitive answer?

I just tested it;
This one's on me

I am PC EU.

I first tested it battleleveled in Orsinium:
with zero CP in Elemental Expert (also zero in Thaumaturg & Elfborn): Tooltip 1081 and damage to Bear 886
with 100 CP in Elemantal Expert (still zero in Thaumaturg & Elfborn): Tooltip 1167 and damage to Bear 1196
Damage increase: 1196/886-100% = 35%

So... that whooping 35% is certainly NOT the 25% increase that Elemental Expert should give.
The reason could be that the battle levelling did not work properly, so I moved over to Coldharbour to repeat the test.

Coldharbour:
with zero CP in Elemental Expert: Tooltip 855 and damage to Vampire Knight 650
with 100 CP in Elemental Expert: Tooltip 922 and damage to Vampire Knight 875
Damage increase 875/650-100% = 35%

Again 35% damage increase !!!
And ofc I made sure that everything was "like for like".

So elemental Expert does work for my Sorcerer, but not as intended

A bit speculative is the following explanation:
Striking is that both in Orsinium as Coldharbour the Tooltip goes up with 7% after putting Elemental Expert at 100 CP.
AND.......
1.07 x 1.25 = 1.34 !!!
The 1.07 from the Tooltip and the 1.25 from 100 CP in Elemental Expert.

I found the reason why the Tooltip was 7-8% up.

By putting 100 CP in the Mage constellation, my Magicka pool increased, and by that my tooltip damage as well.

Conclusion: The 25% damage increase of Elemental Expert works as intended !

@hrothbern so sounds like the ui damage increase was purely from assigning the 100 cp into a blue constellation. And the ui is bugged. But the damage is increased by the elemental expert cp. Just a ui bug. Thanks for doing this
