Questions about Attribute Points after Veteran System goes away.

I actually have several questions/concerns about when ZOS drops Veteran completely.

1. How are attribute points earned after level 50?
2. Will there be an Attribute point cap?
3. Will Attribute points be considered the new level marker? Now 65 = lvl49 + VR16 (lvl50 is VR1)

If you are changing the system enough for the first 3 to not apply then:

4. Assuming CP are distributed the same will there be a difference between a VR10 with 500CP and a VR16 with 500 CP after the conversion?
5. How about a VR16 with 200 CP and a VR10 with 500 CP?
6. What compensation will someone get for being VR16 vs. VR1 if those become equal after the switch?

I don't expect each of these to be answered by number, it is more of a way for me to keep track of questions. Also, if anyone has any other questions regarding this, add them below. If your curious, I'm sure someone else is as well.

Edit: spelling again ;)

As to the first two questions, I read an official post here in the forum which said that the 16 attribute and skill points will be distributed among the normal levels. Something like: at level 5 you earn an additional point, at level 10 you earn two additional points, and so on. These are not the real numbers, I don't remember the exact numbers, but that was the idea. In particular the point cap should be the same as today.

Then (3) the new level marker should be CP, and this implies (4) NO and (5) YES the 500CP one is better.
About your last question I would say that the CPs you earned on your way towards VR16 are enough compensation, but I also read, again in some official post in this forum, that you also get a bonus of 10CP for each VR you have on your top level character.

Sorry for the very vague references to "official posts in this forum". Whoever knows what I am talking about and can find these posts quickly shall feel free to link them below.

Yea that was how I took it. I'm just trying to get some kind of answers on these, since I've spouted off about the possibility of newer/lower level Vet players instantly jumping ahead of their higher level counterparts, if the conditions are right. From everything I've seen, that wouldn't be an incorrect assumption but being as this info has only been hinted at and they (ZOS) haven't stated if they have a work around for those situations.

I don't think this will affect folks like me, I got screwed on the first conversion, that has already happened. What I'm afraid of is that the folks that came in after CP was started but before the Catch up mechanic was put in are going to be hit the hardest.

    General comments:

ZOS can afford to tick off the folks that stick around because it is in the Elder Scrolls Universe a bit on the mechanics of the game as long as it stays an Elder Scrolls game.

I don't think ZOS can afford to tick off their competitive base by allowing newer, less powerful players to instantly jump in front of the ones who have put more time and effort into where they are, when it comes to power and resources.

Then again, it might serve some of them right to get trapped by this possible outcome. After all they did ask for a lot of this.

Edit: I forgot one thing in my reply (A lot of folks didn't start earning CP unitl after they hit VR14, but like I said that has already been done)
also separated reply from comments in general.

The question is how will characters who are already in the veteran ranks gain the skill points that V16 have when they are suddenly raised to that level equivalent post-VR removal and after they have already completed 1-50?

For example, I have a VR3 character. I have a VR16 character. I have 225 champion points or so. When the VR ranks are removed, my VR3 will be equal to my VR16 but have 13 less skill points (one for each level after VR3, up to VR16). My VR3 has already completed levels 1-50. So how does she get the 13 extra skill points?

Sorry, number six should have been worded better, but that is essentially what I was trying to ask but for attribute points.
