Once you have aquired the Legendary Key, it will open a Legendary chest, witch will give you 1 legendary item.

✭✭✭✭✭No, very bad idea.I voted no, not because I hate the idea, but because I dont think it accomplishes what is needed. It smells like a token system, but in fact is just more RNG. I could care less what color something drops in. I would rather have a white divines piece than 10 Gold well-fitted pieces.
Now if you are describing a system were I can trade in X amount of gold keys for a specific piece, sign me up yesterday!!!2 -

✭If you made it instead have a guaranteed drop of a blue/purple shoulder then I'd be happy. It'd have to be a lot of gold keys to trade in though...I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Real hardmode not the "read the book and bug the mechanic so the fight is easier than on normal mode" kind of hardmode we currently have. Not to speak about all the dungeons where you can simply outdps all mechanics even in hardmode.1 -

willymchilybily✭✭✭✭Legendary mats are easy to get, just do writs. Shoulders are easy to get. Just takes time to get each shoulder and each with good trait. Can't expect your first few keys to give what you want but I think I've been in guild running most days for say 4 months and have every shoulder with divines except two are infused. More kena shoulders with good traits than characters at this stage. My malabeth collection is also impressive. Lord warden was the last one I managed to collect.
But if you "want it now" then yeah this proposed system is terrible. Better to have a token system to chose the shoulder trait and the shoulder on sale is the same as the daily pledge helm drop
