Stamina Sorc Question?

Hypothetical situation:

I am a Sorcerer. I have a Maeltrom Defending Sword which gave me 1651 Phys/Spell Resist and 6% increased armor rating, as well has a reinforced gold shield equipped. I also have Overload equipped on that bar. When I swap to my overload bar my sword and shield no longer appear in my hands.

When I swap to my overload bar, will I still have all the resistance from the maelstrom sword passive, the defending trait, and the shield? Also if the shield was the 5th piece in an armor set, will I still have that 5 piece bonus active in Overload?

When you activate Overload, you keep your active weapon's trait, enchantment, set effect, and damage rating. You lose the weapon passives. In the case of sword and board, you'd lose movement speed while blocking, increased block mitigation, etc, until you deactivated the ultimate.

Awesome, so I should still have all the armor ((1651 sword + 3491 reinforced shield)*1.06 defending trait)? But I would lose all the Sword and Board Passives?

The same would apply to swapping into overload on for a gold Sharpened Maelstrom 2H sword?

I would keep the 1571 damage, plus 189 damage being Maelstrom , plus the Armor Penetration.

I would lose 5% flat damage from sword passive, 30% stam regen from kills, etc.
