Compendium of skills/abilities that require change.

Post your opinion's on skills that require change here and maybe zos will look at the most frequently posted skills.

I'l start with the skills I feel need a change/rebalance, this is just my opinion and anyone who posts in this thread are entitled to there's.

Wrecking blow. CC is to long. Unbashable, channelled skill. Cfrags is bashable but the one mostly used in range of it been bashed, isn't bashable... ok.

Ambush. Can be spammed leaving players literally unable to move while dealing more damage than many dps abilities: force shock and morphs, Puncture and morphs, puncturing sweeps and morphs.

Crit rush and stampede. Spamable gap closers, 1 dealing more damage than a lot of dps abilities and the other an 8 second snare! 8 seconds you are unable to move. Lotus fan also has the annoying snare which should be removed.

Dark cloak. I actually play a magicka nb and yes, cloak needs changing. Especially dark cloak, it should remove 1 dot, 4 is over the top considering you barely have 4 on you anyway. The invisibilty aspect of the skill is fine, the cost is fine but the counters to cloak are not available to enough classes or builds.

Shadow image. Range and duration need increasing also needs to take priority over other skills. For example, I will press shadow image before a wrecking blow but the wrecking blow just knocks me back to where I was. This is ridiculous considering i' have 'teleported'.

Dragon blood. Not a good enough heal doesn't compete even with rally or vigor.

Dark flare. Should deal less damage but be insta cast. Its too easy to see it coming and avoid it.(Templars need something spammable, its all I can think of.)

Snares. All snares in the game should be removed. They suck.

    WB is bugged as hell. Before any balance, this skill should stop being as buggy as it currently is.

    More than the individual abilities, the root when someone is using a gap closer on you should go. Less damage on gap closers? Why not.

    While nerfing it to 1 dot purged is drastic, it seems that 2 is the most reasonable. 4 is an overkill and is a huge middle finger to any DoT build out there (hint: there are none competitive enough).

    Applies to all health based abilities (Bone shield, sun shield, Clannfear heal...)

    That would turn dark flare into sun fire, which is also pretty terrible since dots are currently worthless in this game. No thanks.

    I'm surprised you didn't mention any sorc abilities. On a side note, I wonder how long till this thread devolves into pointless name-calling.

    I play a Templar and I think Purifying ritual is insanely too effective at removing stuff. 5 negative effects? Good luck DoT builds, lol. I can wipe all effects in 1 GCD that it would take for a DK 4 GCD's to apply.

    In general I think purging is a little too easy in this game.

    I think sorc abilities are balanced.

    True I just think cloak is used primarily to avoid damge and the cleanse it gives is overkill.

    I love nb's but some of the class skills are too strong compared to other classes skills.

    -Negate needs a buff and please make it visible like it used to be.
    -Pls fix overload so it doesn't get stuck on heavy attacks anymore.
    -Fix restoring twilight, it doesn't restore anything.

    I'm sure there's more, can't be bothered thinking of them though.

    If I may make a suggestion for Suprise Attack and Ambush:

    How about the Armor Debuff from SA and the Mmajor Emmpower from Ambush become stealth only?Just like how SA has a stun if it hits while stealthed, so should these effects be activated if the skill is used during stealth

    This way, NB can still gank althouh they would have to choose between 2 attacks for opening combat, but they can still weave the attacks without buffing/debuffing their target at the same time
