did they break normal mealstrom boss 7 with the last patch

ok so boss 7 the argonian ... when the adds with the shield spawn and u kill one the boss doesnt do his massive aoe ... he does melee attacks

about 30 seconds after the shield guy drops his shield ... he starts his aoe ...

if tried to keep both adds up longer and this still happens ...

if tried keeping the one shield guy, alive the boss aoe just kills him ...

if only i had overload i could kill the boss befor that phase lol

ok so it looks like crushing shock is interupting his aoe channel ... when he should be doing it with shield adds up

but its not interupting it when he shouldnt be channeling is aoe

i was able to clear it by not using crushing shock when he is channeling his aoe ability

So what are you getting at? CS interrupts the rage attack making it nice and easy, same for the trolls on round 5, stops them smashing the platforms. this is how it should be, although Ambush with NB's doesn't stop this, or didn't last I checked.

i think the OP is on about the scream and mender shields being raised are out of sync. raising shields when he is melee attacking but not when he is screaming.

Id rather not interrupt and get the one shot mechanics involved if i can avoid it, but yeah if you arent being shielded you need an interrupt.

Kill one shield guy, leave the one thats not next to a plume.

During the scream phase dont use CS (or other ranged interrupts) and just dps the boss.

After the scream phase is over kill the add and continue dps.

What class are you playing if I may ask?
