NBs have the best CC in the game (Mass Hysteria), the best single target dps skill (Surprise Attack), the best gap-closer (Ambush) and they can evade a lot of dmg and remove dots with Dark Cloak. The problem is that NBs are very dependent on Cloak, if NBs are Marked or detected with aoe/detect pots/radiant mage light they usually die quickly.
in large scale fights the sorc just nukes from the distance? at least Nb still have to get close ;P0 -

but in general, the opinion of the eso community on what class stands out the most in pvp

✭✭seriously? nightblades ofcourse!I used to feel like DKs were the best,but since I began playing NBs,I havent looked back.They're just sooo smooth to play.You just have to be able to whip those fingers fast to use their skills to their ultimate abilities.0 -

Wolfchild07✭✭✭✭✭There's no option for 'whichever class the better players are using at the time'. Sure, NB is easier to use and more forgiving. Try some detection pots/skills, though.
Would like to see one of the youtubers make an NB that doesn't utilise cloak to see if they can make it viable actually. Would be interesting.0 -

I never use cloak.When I see posts about it,it puzzles me. I'm sure there must be some way to use it effectively,but I just dont pay attention to it.I do very well without it,personally. :}0 -

The only reason the voting doesn't show 90% in favor of NBs is because all of them ( and thats a lot) vote other classes because they are afraid of nerfs .
Btw i have also a NB i play in PVP.
