I just dove in to PVP for the first time last week and am having a blast. I must say that I'm officially hooked. Never thought I'd say that as a long time PVE player!
The only issue that im seeing is that guilds in EP in azuras star treat each other like enemies when we should be working for the common good. I don't even bother going into area chat when more than one guild is at the same location.. It's just filled with childish infighting and arrogant people propping themselves up. If we actually worked together there wouldn't be a feeling of being so demoralized when we get pushed back to our gates. DC and AD even go as far as working together to make this happen it seems.
Anyway just thought I'd share my point of view from a PVP newbie

CavalierPrime✭✭✭✭Theres animosity between the Warriors, Jackhammers, and Slugs, which are the three biggest guilds running ps4 na EP azuras. Ive been a member of all three, and I feel the leaders of two of them have objectively scum personalities (yelling and cussing at their members 24/7). The third guild, I was kicked from almost immediately after I joined because a low level officer doesn't like my forum posts. That guild seemed pretty decent though. But yeah, theres zero hope for a unified EP in Azuras. It will never happen.0 -

Just start a new character, If you're not too invested in the character (you said you just started to PVP so I figured it might still be before you hit vet levels, tho I could be wrong) Plenty of DC guilds will help you level up, gather materials for gear, whatever you need. These are the three guilds that I've noticed. The leaders all hate each other so the rest of the 499 guild members suffer for it. Like I said it is very demoralizing and makes me want to just go back to PVE at times.0 -

I have a couple of alts, but my main has hundreds of hours invested. If there is a way to "win" PVE, this character has done it. Master crafter, psijic anbrosia, 9 trait light crafter, Master explorer, All delves, skyshards, dolmens, public dungeons, vet dungeons, etc etc etc.
I might just have to be ok with delegating her as a crafter though and bite the bullet and play an alt. at least the alt has my 350 CP and I spent the time to get 60/60/60 on riding training1 -

I don't think you can piggyback into a pop capped campaign anymore, although when you could EP was notorious for doing this very thing. DC has to be lag switching am I right? It can't be the 80 man EP zerg who sends all their players to the same keep like a bunch of lemmings. The cause of lag on every campaign on every platform has nothing to do with lag switches, it is due to giant zergs of players all lumping up in 1 place. DC has and probably will be outnumbered on ps4 for a very long time, but even alot of the good duelers including AD and EP players will admit we have the most quality players. Unfortunately they don't say the same about EP. You just want to blame everyone but yourself, you will even blame your own faction and guild members for things not going your way as demonstrated by your posts in other threads on these forums.1 -

There are good people everywhere.. We're just drowned out by the overly loud voices of the arrogant ones. Like I said earlier I rarely bother even going into area chat.
As far as the theories about forcing disconnects... I'm not sure this is the doing of any players.. At least I hope not. I've had horrible lag and disconnect issues but would never throw it out there that a player is doing it. We (EP) can't place blame on anyone but ourselves for not working together0 -

One group cheated in chillrend and they rolled AD now and are in Azura but guess what they aren't cheating for anyone not AD,not DC no one but that's why EP never wins when in actuality you guys can't hang with AD when they have ppl on I snuck into Alesia 1 night while EP was trying to take it from AD and watched you guys get wiped 10 times in a row lol. When the numbers are even or almost even EP gets beat up on. You guys rely solely on out numbering to win because there are more EP than AD and DC in total population I Saw 100 EP at aleswell trying to dethrone DC last emp you guys got wiped 3 times by 30 ppl lmao. If you're talking about Baconator I'm going to have to disagree with you. That guy is an amazing player and knows his stuff. No cheating, just knowledge. I witnessed him take on a full 24 man group and stand his ground. Same goes for element over in AD1 -

Being Emperor with aoe spam doesn't equal skill. Ive killed both of those players with as few as 4-5v1. Also I will not confirm or deny who I was referring to. I dont want to name and shame.0 -

Also I still love how the zergbads of ep still parrot the fact that my group is causing lag but I understand. If I was regularly wiped 16v60 I would try to find a reason for my failures as well, but the difference is I would attempt to git gud instead of starting some mass conspiracy on how a dozen people are lagging out an open world pvp game so that the +80 people sitting inside of bleakers with a scroll can't enjoy their "ap farm" (still LOLing about that btw). You know that's not a exploit you can bring your buddies into other Campaigns that's why Their a thing called a Group queues so you can bring groups into a campaign.Everyone can do it.It's really not a exploit also how do you know their bringing extra people to a campaign?Did you sit and count every single person?It's impossible to tell since we don't know the Population Cap at this time.Also what I'd a Lag Switch am pretty sure players don't have access to that lol.Have fun in your delusions.CavalierPrime wrote: »DC is the way to be? They admitted it. All it took was an EP willing to get on a DC character and touch the red scroll to "prove" his loyalty to blue.

DC cheating got so bad, the commander of the DC cheaters had to switch his campaign, because the heat was getting too severe. Id be willing to testify in a court of law that I believe what I say to be true.
Once again the amount of potato showing in your post is astounding. I dropped so other people in my guild could actually get emp. Also I still love how the zergbads of ep still parrot the fact that my group is causing lag but I understand. If I was regularly wiped 16v60 I would try to find a reason for my failures as well, but the difference is I would attempt to git gud instead of starting some mass conspiracy on how a dozen people are lagging out an open world pvp game so that the +80 people sitting inside of bleakers with a scroll can't enjoy their "ap farm" (still LOLing about that btw).
