What's The Hardest Class to Play in PvP?

With the recent Battle Spirit being broken, I can officially say that Imperial DKs will be the best class in PvP. I thought it was Stam NBs, but I can definitely say losing 5k is going to make them too squishy. From my dueling experiences, Stam DKs and Stam NBs are the best. A Stam DK is the only class I played. I saw one of the best NBs go on his Stam Sorc and he would get destroyed constantly. It just shows how those 2 classes are the best. I've always wanted a Stam Sorc, so I recently made one, but what I want to try and play now is the HARDEST possible class. So, does anyone know which class is considered one of the hardest to play especially now that the Battle Spirit bonus is bugged? If so I'll probably be on there for a bit (most likely a month or more) until it's fixed.

✭✭Magicka templar. No escape, useless damage shield, ranged skills which take an hour to cast, half of the class abilities bugged or broken...

Lol idk if that was sarcastic or not, but it gave me a chuckle! On a serious note though, I mean for certain situations. I'm looking for a class + playstyle that has simply more of a disadvantage than most. Mostly since I want to challenge myself. Any suggestions?1 -

Ah, 3 of you guys recommended Temps already. Do they really have it that bad? It kinda makes me wanna make one now lol. I do know for sure though that they can kill NBs pretty easily with the jabs being in their face all the time.0 -

they are fun to play hard to get a hang of and damage is lower but the heals can be fun. I recently found the set up that works better for me now in pvp but if there is more than a few 1-2 ppl and im alone its bye bye time.... id say 50% pf the time now maybe more I can evade a zerg if im on top of my game that day haha

Yea, I figured as much. I used to hate NBs because of their playstyle, but now that I've gotten more knowledge on their class, I've come to respect them a lot. They don't really have any defenses so they need to rely on cloak. Nightblades are not an easy class to master from what I can tell.2 -

✭✭Magicka templar is definitely not OK. I have played them for 2 years now, and their decline, in which they seem to get nerfed over and over again, is ridiculous. A few months ago, I had zero trouble in pvp, but we are in a bad place now... Killing players who have no idea what they are doing is still pretty easy, but 1v1 against a good stamina DK or NB is likely to end badly

try it yourself...its actually quite hard if you play vs someone who is not a scrub.

Totalitarian✭✭✭✭✭Generally speaking, Templars suffer a disadvantage at range. But when they are able to fight an enemy at equal footing at melee range, Templars generally do rather well.

When people say to me, "Why do you come to PvP with your templar, and not your sorcerer or your DK?" I say I find templar more fun, because its like 'hardcore mode' haha

Ha, that's the problem I have fighting experienced NBs. They know how to put on the pressure and I have to get my pots ready all the time. Sometimes I even have to use a completely different gear set up just to beat them.0 -

If you are looking for the hardest class to play, that's likely going to change with the next update coming out. Not sure when you console folks are going to get it, but the PTS is coming out on PC in "early February" so check back to this thread at that time and I'll let you know. By the time you get all leveled and geared up, the patch will hit consoles and you will be ready to go!
Right now, the hardest class to solo/open world is a magicka DK. Templars aren't easy either but they can at least beat other players if played well.

well I have yet to make a stamplar but from what I hear they hit pretty hard but the lack of heals(maybe ?) for a Templar is kinda a game changer for me. I always liked the healing dd type of char. my stamplar is only 15 so I can not tell on that but I finally decided to grinding my magicka to vet 16 from 14 the other day because I just want to get it over with so I can wear the end gear lol.0 -

lol solo world stam NB is actually WAY harder then a magicka DK. you can do all delves/public dungeons and world bosses (except for orsinium ofc) solo with ease.
but in PvP i would go for templar if solo.

joleda4ub17_ESO✭✭✭Try playing a healer that actually tries to heal full time. Sometimes I get in a team that doesn't try to save me. Sometimes I get ganked when trying to run back. There are days that I'm nothing but fodder. It's definitely not for those with thin skin.2 -

✭I think stam sorc, stam templar & mag dk need the most skill to compensate for shortcomings class balance wise (talking pvp). Mag dk prolly still has the largest comfort zone out of those three due to its tankyness. You just have more time to react and gimped scales are still something I would trade most of my class skills for.Koma Grey, Chocolate Thunder, Little Mojo, Dagoth Mojo & Mojomancy1
