Hi,

I've been playing ESO a few months now, and for the most part I enjoy the game. After I came to Wrothgar and picked up my first piece of Trinimac's valor, I decided to try and collect a whole set of it.

For the past month I've been doing the 6 daily monster bosses, and collected every treasure chest I could find. It's over 100 daily bosses killed, and somewhere around 1000 treasure chests opened. I still can't put together a single V16 set of either Trinimac's, Pariah or Briarheart. I have deconned more V15 pieces than I can count. I'm not even counting the traits (which are all wrong for the V16 pieces I do have).

I don't want easy mode. I can appreciate the need for some RNG in a game like this, but isn't this a bit much? Anyone else having these problems or am I just incredibly unlucky?

    Try getting Winterborn or Succession. Those are even worse since they only drop from vMA chests.

    I've managed to put together multiple sets of every set, but not reliably as VR16. The drop rate and RNG is so punishing that I get stuck with the same generic "Ancestor Silk blah blah blah" item over and over. I really hate the game's loot system. Unless it's set item, everything is just the same generic item over and over and over, making the disappointment of not getting the item you want even worse.

    Treasure chests are not worth the trouble.

    After opening hundeds of chests and even with the treasure hunter passive, chests have yielded only blues. Not a single thing that I have looted from them has been kept.

    Having said that, doing 6 world bosses daily since the release of the DLC I have complete sets of Trinimac and Briarheart (and whatever the heavy set is) clothing and jewellery, at least as complete as the set is supposed to be.

    Looting world bosses is the best way to get vr16 purples. Chests? A waste of time if that is what you are looking for.

    They also drop in normal VMA blue VR15 from each arena chest and blue VR16 from the final chest.........

    I have deconned loads of those 2 sets and with good traits too. :)

    I agree with the OP. I started since day one of its release and I am tired of getting the same garbage over and over again. What do I have to do another 200 WB, and another 2,000 chests to get a 10% chance on one piece I need in the right level? That to me is an accurate estimate.

    I actively set out to do the world boss dailies. I have yet to complete a full vr16 set of the possible drops and have received a single vr16 rings.

    I dread doing Maelstrom arena and only do it to get the weekly. I have completed every set with good traits and deconned dozens of other pieces.

    The daily drop rate is way too low.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.
