Just came back in BWB

Are players that powerful in BWB? Do they get all their champion points in this pvp zone which is suppose to be for newcomers? Just saw a guy take out 8 people. If so this is a horrible mechanic. Talk about running off new players.

BWB used to be a lot of fun, but they are turning off cp for BWB in an upcoming patch, then it can go back to the fun pvp server, instead of alts with max cp (501) currently rolling new players, and I am sure turning a lot of them off and some will never pvp again.

When is the last time you played? Battle-leveling has pretty much had a complete overhaul fairly recently, where now things like gear, enchantments, and stat allocation will have a sizable impact on your overall numbers. If you're still wearing the same gear you had pre-Orinium, you may want to look into getting some new gear. Important things to note are that everything that would effect your stats outside of battle leveling will now effect your stats when battle leveled (including gear set bonuses), and your stats will decreases as you outlevel your gear when battle leveled.

There was also a new set, Julianos, that was released with Orsinium that allows magicka builds to stack more spell damage.

And yes, CP is allowed in BWB. It is definitely noticeable, but probably not nearly as significant as making sure you are geared properly.

This is why I didnt start pvping until I was V16. Champion Points should be turned off for non vet pvping. You get these players that have vet characts and loads of cps just to own new players that have 0. I totally agree with you about it running off new players of the game and new pvpers

Its because they cant stand up to the big boys in veteran pvp. So killing noobs make them feel better.

You have always been able to 1v8 on BWB as experienced player. The main difference currently is that gear matters way more and the ttk in general is lower. I kind of like it that my legendery master weapons I got as end of campaign rewards finally are better than a white crafted weapon, but I agree, that new players need some more help.
An idea I would like to see is a merchant who sells low level blue set armour for small ap values. That way new players could get strong gear through pvp and wouldn't have much of a disadvantage compared to someone who allready has a max level crafter.

Not always about CP's honestly. I have a guildie who has over the cap in CPs but doesn't use them in lowbie. Sometimes it just comes down to gear (you'd be surprised how many wear blue or purple gear in BWB) and experience. A lot of vet players run in BWB because of the lack of lag.

and a lot of vets run in BWB because the cannot cut it in the big boy campaigns. so they make level 40ish characters with gold gear and max CP and troll around in black water so they can feel like a tough guy.

there are alot players in bwb that can wipe a group of noobs, haveing 4 mediocore players in a 1v8 just ruins the winning chances for the 1.

pvp more, get more experience and get some green set pieces. should be enough to not lose a 8v1

That is also very true but also it's easier to get into a group in BWB whereas the vet campaigns it's like pulling teeth sometimes trying to get into a good group. I don't blame some players for leaving vet to "feel like tough guys" because they will probably become a better fighter/experienced PvPer faster in BWB than vet campaigns. Hard to grow as a player if some of the experienced players are not inviting you and calling you useless pug and all that.

players with maxed CP and maxed skills are playing in BWB
this came to ZOS's attention -after losing thousands of new players ofcourse - thus they are making some improvement which includes banning CPs in non-vet campaign
these reckless players who are very skilled playing at non vet campaign are crushing ESO playerbase - especially that of new players. this used to be a rare occurrence.. now there is organized guilds of "strong pro extraordinary unbeatable" people who plays frequently in BWB to garuntee that new players who fight back in melee light or heavy attacks and barely know how to use skills in PvP area quit ESO before they get a chance to enjoy it
i played in BWB when i first started playing ESO. i got "rekt" "tbagged" and whatever words you can use to describe. when i got encountered by enemy players i hardcasted crystal frags, roll dodged way too much to lose my stamina too quickly, yeah i had 0 experience AND ZERO FUN. and never enjoyed PvP in eso as early as level 14.
ZOS cant make BWB fun for new players when players-"elites" with experience in PvP are running all over the place
ZOS cant control "elite" players behavior and prevent them from entering BWB and ruining the fun of new players before it starts.
    ***********************************************************************************************************
as in every MMO, developers struggle from keeping the game welcoming for new players -this is what causes the game to die, the players blame the developers for that, but the real reason is that veteran players with elite experience always search for dominance, and the easy choice when its about PvP in ESO is the NON VETERAN campaign BWB.
************tip for players: to kill ESO playerbase, go with your elite PvP friends and play all the time in BWB to prevent new people from enjoying the game, crush, get them rekt, tbag and make as much jokes as possible about them on TS, keep doing that all the time until they quit - maybe ZOS can send you players bots so you can farm then aswell.
************to make/keep ESO welcoming to new players, do not play in BWB ESPECIALLY as a group of experienced players
non-vet campaign is better of remained and played by non veterans. there is no second option.

CP is probably part of it, but the way battle leveling takes gear into account now is also a huge factor. I have 3 non vets geared by max crafters each reach the 3rd reward tier in the vet campaign in a matter of days. Tells me I can never really go back to BWB, it would be hugely unfair to the players just starting out there.

im on bwb atm with my lvl 20 nb with only 5k worth of gear and its the most fun ive had in cyro in the course of over a year.

i agree that cp makes you quite strong and ive had people whispering me that im cheating but i really dont want to go back to that lagfest called azura...and im pretty sure that alot of people are making alts just to play on this server just for lagfree pvp.

What ever happens, there are people who will abuse every mechanic in this game to roll over noobs, twinks will always be around

This is true, but there were a lot of players like myself that tried to explain to ZOS and everyone supporting it that the runaway CP system was nothing but a DEATH SENTENCE to ESO!

Most of us MMO players Vets/or "Noobs" alike can understand "Twinks" we are Okay with that. Most MMO players understand and know that starting a new MMO there are going to be players that are better geared than they are. If I was new I would at least be able to farm gear or even have a guild mate help me gear up.. But the CP system the way it was/is will not make players want to do nothing except LEAVE!

So many forum posters supported this broken CP system. They also supported no text chat for consoles. When anyone said anything negative about them those forum posters would attack us with "Then leave" Or "Speak with your wallet" Well I think ZOS has seen what the "Wallets" have been saying lol.

Problem is soooo many players are feeling just like this poster. For every person that came here before leaving and said something there were probably 50+ more that just quietly uninstalled the game and will never look back.. ZO$ are trying to fix things. They are attempting to add in text chat,CP caps, CP free PvP. Better grouping features, but I just hope it doesn't come too late to bring back those players.

    May I make a suggestion ?

Get into a good guild that helps people learn just how to pvp, its fun and worth while.

AD has some very good guilds, that are willing to teach a noob and exp players the in's and out's of pvp.

Dig and Dug are excellent choice's.
