Lightning splash
Hi all,
Got a question about lightning splash skill. Just the base skill, not morphed.
Say it deals 300 dps... to keep the math simple... if I cast it twice next to each other, with a slight overlap. Will the part where it overlaps stack and do 600 dps? Or does it still do the 300 dps?
I'm not sure how to test this, and couldn't find anything on the forums.
Trying to figure out if its worth multi casting for them pve monsters that like to move around a bit.
I've only just unlocked this skill and really liking it so far.

You can cast it more than once of course but when you recast it your old one will go.PS4 EU DC

You can cast it more than once of course but when you recast it your old one will go.

It's a good skill to throw down though, extra dps. Just don't spam it.
I have been using it a lot. It's great after using crystal shard, because my clanfear distracts the mob then I apply lightning splash to give that extra dps while I use my lightning staff. Been taking most mobs out in about 3-4 seconds0 -

✭✭✭✭✭It's the most efficient dps move available to sorcs. No two at once (how broken would that be?), glad you like it.
I use it in my PvE build. I really like it, i'm working on a build that'll do 3k+ per tick, it will do you well late game.0 -

should try surge, shocking clench, unstable wall, lightning splash bound armaments and whatever ulti tickles your fancy tho i recommend dawnbreaker or batswarm for more AoE, this combo means you can upkeep a large amount of Shock AoE and heavy staff shock channels means even more spread, i use this to proc a bunch of disintergrates on big packs of mobs
