What Veteran dungeons are solo-able?

So I just learned some of the vet dungeons cannot be solo'ed (really disappointed in this) because of mechanics.

Which are just not possible to solo, which are unlikely to be solo'ed and which should be solo-able?

I know vElden Hallow (edit thanks i was going off of top of my head) is solo-able thanks to Thalon, but what else?

Also, which dungeon is like the line? I mean soloing a normal dungeon isn't considered an "achievement" by the community... so what is?

That would be a heck of an accomplishment. I heard there was a video of 5 guys beating Sanctum which is crazy.

Fungal grotto isn't because the 2nd boss chains you and without another person you're dead everytime. No vet dungeons are. Possibly banished cells if that beast or elden hollow and darkshade but none with a trapping mech of any kind can be solod

He solo'd vet Elden Hollow. The 2nd boss in fungal has a one-shot mechanic that requires a group member to pass.

Spindle, Elden Hollow, Banished Cells, Darkshade, and CoA could in theory be solo'd

Most of them won't be easy, some will be impossible due to mechanics (vICP and vWGT certaintly)...

Some people enjoy solo'ing group dungeons as a personal challenge, but that's it really... there is no real reason to solo them so most don't bother to try, me included. If I wanted to do something hard solo, I do vMA.

Speaking of which, I suspect solo'ing group dungeons is probably like vMA, you need good dps, self-healing and some means to survive by yourself. Sorcs will probably have the easiest job like in vMA cos dps and survivability (Hardened Ward) are not mutually exclusive. In fact I ran a vet dungeon as a tank this week for the first time on my sorc, even though I have a full dps setup, and it was surprisingly easy.

A few friends and I have done this. It's not all that difficult with max CP and good gear, it's just doing the same thing over and over again with a bit of skill.

The videos are here if you want to see them.

Soloing veteran dungeons can be hard and sometimes downright impossible. If you're looking for a fun challenge try soloing the first bosses in AA and HRC (Lightning Atro and Ra-Kotu). It's doable but difficult!

    Personal challenge yes...

But also... I can't stand groups for the most part, they more often than not hinder me rather than help. So im trying to get my undaunted up via by myself.

Disappointed many of the dungeons that drop what I want can't be solo'ed (damn you ZoS!)

Im following in Thalon's steps with a Trinimac build, trying to accomplish what he did or more with a different build.

So far my accomplishments have brough on not as much as a bat of an eye, lol, so im upping my game.

    Thank you for the information.

Can anyone tell me the difficulty between Wrothgar world bosses, IC bosses, and flag sewer bosses?

Not so sure about that. Banished Cells last boss controls players and send them up in the sky, than drops them down and have to purify asap running to the right circle. If solo, the orbs and Daedroth will spawn meanwhile and boss will heal up.

CoA to much dmg + dps race.

Darkshade second boss has 2 adds. One knocks you down and one drains a players entire stamina pool so you cant break out. With only one player you will get both adds on you. No stamina and knocked down. Unable to get back up, with boss beating on you. Rip.

Think only Elden Hollow can be solo'ed realistically. Maybe Spindle if you find a way of dealing with Praxin circle of doom + magicka drain.

Both of these are pre-CP and pre global vet dungeon nerf. There was a crash bug on the last boss of vBC that would end most solo runs.

and this incomplete one just for nostalgia purposes, he got crash bugged at the end. Back when DKs were beasts in solo situations.

@eliisra Any V16 Vet dungeon without a boss mechanic that specifically kills one player (like Nerien'eth and his Ebony Blade attack) is soloable. I'd say it gets a good amount more difficult than VMA, since it is meant for four people.

I am creating gear atm specifically for soloing Vet dungeons. I've soloed Vet Darkshade and CoA on V8. On V16, I can solo CoA up to Valkyn Skoria. Super difficult, but fun and slightly possible!
