Trespassing

Good Afternoon!

I trust you are well.

I just came across this interview that RIch Lambert did regarding the Thieves Guild DLC.

One thing I can say is that I am quite sad to see that all these new criminal activities appear to only be in Hew's Bane, and not across all of Tamriel?
RL: We’ve added in more criminal activities into the justice system. Specifically:

Trespassing - Certain locations in Abah’s Landing are off-limits where just being seen there is considered a criminal act. These locations are accessible via clearly labeled entrances that make it clear you will be trespassing. While doing so, the on screen justice indicator will notify you of your illicit status.

Criminal Mischief – A bunch of different actions fall under this criminal category. (forgery, vandalism, etc) While you are on quests or exploring Hew’s Bane these actions will be highlighted in red before performing them to indicate their criminal implications. Being witnessed performing criminal mischief will incur bounty, just as with other crimes.
I was hoping that the additions to the Justice System would at least be world-wide, especially something like trespassing where if you break in to a house or enter a house you are not supposed to be in while the citizens are home you would gain a bounty.

Seems rather silly to only have such features for the Justice System remain in one zone. Rather make them part of the base game patch and world-wide, what does everyone else say?

Any chance of rethinking this @ZOS_GinaBruno?

Thank you!

They could be testing the waters with this. Trying to see how people like that new addition prior to updating it for all zones. If it works really well there, they should put it in every major city for sure!

Like @Robbmrp said, I think it is best to test it in one area before putting out all in Tamriel. Forgery and vandalism? Not sure how forgery would benefit us or provide us any fun, but vandalism goes well with murdering the whole village LOL. I saw two players massacre this one village seeing dead bodies every where.

Wait?!? On this interview it mentions a Skill Line...

"For Thieves Guild skill line we’ve added in all new passive skills. The focus of this line is to improve your toolset as a thief – the easier it is to either escape the law or reduce being noticed during criminal activities, the easier it is to be a successful thief. A really good example of this would be Clemency, which is the ability to sweet talk your way out of being arrested by a guard for a limited amount of time."

The decision to make the game b2p means that all new content is going to be behind a paywall. Don't expect any notable new content to be added to the base game.

I'm totally for the universal Justice system. It's a bit ridiculous to have so many justice options/obstacles in the Thieves guild-environment and not having them in the rest of Tamriel.

    Maybe I/we got something wrong?
