While mobile sales are trending upward on most platforms, it's a moot point. The crown store is an in-game service using the same lease terms as everything else in the game. It's not traditional buying.

You could try sending a scanned handwritten letter giving ZOS permission to deduct your crown balance and add the item. That would constitute a legally binding agreement with no liability on their part. Might work, might not. Worth a shot and a "could you please forward this to your supervisor" at the end.

However - for marketing purposes the Hero costumes should be evergreen items, not limited. When you spend a lot of money making specific appearances important to describing your product, those avatars become just as much a part of the core experience as anything else.
