Stamina NB CP - Thaumaturge or Mighty?

Surprise Attack (my main DPS), just like many other NB skills deals magic damage. Should I therefore put all my points into thaumaturge (magic and poison damage) or Mighty (physical damage)? Or maybe I should split it 50/50? This is my first stamina build so I am not an expert on the mechanics...

    Maybe I am reading the description of ESO wiki wrong, but it says it causes magic damage that however scales off your stamina and weapon damage.

    Surprise attack and Ambush are both physical damage. The execute and the AoE are magic damage even though they also scale from stam and WD. As a stam blade, you are better of putting points into mighty.

    Exactly. And also the 10% gain or so is better than the difference between 80-100 points in another. It's like 2% at the top end 20 points max not worth it.

    Also your soul tether, dawnbreaker etc will all benefit from it too. Nerenith procs also get a boost in that skill line.
