The new battle levelling is even more of a problem than CP however. It puts news players at an even greater disadvantage than if everyone had the same stats + CP (close to 1.6 battle level). You can get insane stats with good gear for your level, while a chap on his first will have less than a third of fighting power without even factor in the skill difference from stats alone.
Actually I was duelling some newer players yesterday because they said they wanted to get better instead of just giving up. I can respect them for that. If you're just going to throw in the towel, especially when CPs are going to get removed shortly, I have no sympathy. So true, I mean twinkling shouldn't beas easy as it is right now and shouldnt give people such a advantage. As a new played I stay away from PvP because its just no funI think a lot of new players feel the same way
Champion points in non-vet PvP completely removes the point of non vet PvP. I go into the non-vet PvP thinking
"oh hey, I'm level 41, I will have a good time and be able to hold my ground and kill a lot of people.
this is compltetly false
If you go into non vet PvP as a low level, there is almost no point and you honestly shouldn't if you don't want to ruin the PvP for yourself. There lvl 10's every where that use this cp stuff off of there vr 16 to get high percentage rates on certain things like spell damage.
So if I go in the game with no cp boost's persae and I have a weapon that does 600 damage regularly, it gets boosted to 1000. But with the percentage system, if someone goes in with a weapon that does 140 damage and gets boosted to a 1000 and has a percentage of 20% more weapon damage, the level 10's weapone is now doing 1200 damage.
makes no sense to me zos please take cp out of non vet PvP. Veteran rank players should not have an advantage in it

Honesty I like CP in non Vet why shouldn't I be able to use the points I earned. But even without CP Vet players on new characters will still have higher skills and MUCH better gear then new players Purple Armor, weapons, jewelry and enchantments makes a big difference.
Changing the rage from "but he has 501 CP it's not fair" to "but he has the best crafted gear and enchantments" same sh*t different color.

xD ya people like you make me sick. Give people a chance in PvP instead of being an absolute rude person who makes the game no fun for anyone. If you like PvP, go play vet rank PvP than where you'll get absolutely destroyed by actually good players xD
If you are running a lvl41 char in BWB with no CP & no crafted gear you are going to have a tough time. Even just Battle levelling will make lower level chars even more powerful than you are.
Removing the CP component will definitely level the playing field a bit but not completely. You can still get PVP guild guys that have been farming AP with a strong guild & have a high Alliance Rank at relatively low character level. I have seen lvl19 guys that are Alliance Rank 11 !! Then there are the keep & scroll bonuses, Emp bonuses.. etc..
This game has been going for 2 years so the likelihood of a new guy jumping into PVP & winning is slim regardless. When I first started PVPing I died & died & died. I have a new friend trying ESO atm & he has the same issues... can't get a kill in PVP & so he hates it. He rages about the fact that the best players (those going for Emp) are given even greater bonuses that put them out of reach of the 'average' player... but that's the way the game is! When you get smashed by an Emp, you just have to accept it. It would be a pretty crap mechanic if a noob could show up in the game & beat the Emperor!

No one is saying you suck but there will always be an unfair advantage for older players in non Vet with or without CP removing them will not help as mush as you think.

Weapon damage = The Ritual / Mighty.
Spell damage = The Ritual / Thaumaturge (Magic damage) &/or The Apprentice / Elemental Expert (Elemental magic damage).
There are also a bunch of CP spots for increasing critical damage.
