Always used it on my DK, but someone was saying something odd the other day and I wanted some clarification....
So, They were saying that they do not use Igneous Shields, because the shield removes your resistance?
So, if you have a Igneous Shield up for 5k, and get hit with an attack that does 8k, that 5k shield is gone with a remaining 3k DMG, and this 3k DMG ignores your resistance, since it hit your shield initially. That 3k is pure DMG, not affected by any resistance.
As opposed to having no shield up, getting hit for 8k, and your resistances removing about 4k DMG anyway....
That seems weird to me, is that true? Is it only for Igneous Shields or all DMG shields?? On console so really hard for me to tell if its true.
Sorry if I worded it confusing...but any help would be sweetness.
