Costume Idea, by Daedxz

Hey guys, I was messing around today when I got a few ideas that I want to run by all of you. But first.... Has anyone ever brought up to ZOS the annoyance of wearing a costume and logging out and not seeing you're character wearing that costume on the character list? It grinds my gears every time.

Anyway here are my thoughts.
1. I think it would be a wicked sick idea for ZOS to add customized player costumes. Where the player can pick from all of the articles of clothing in the game and make their own personal outfit that they wear and everyone else can see.
2. I think it would also be great for guilds to have their own custom emblems that can be placed on any article of clothing or armor. Of course it would be optional by the player if they wish to show the emblem or not.
3. They could use the same dye system and add that to my first idea.

What do you guys think?

    Neverwinter did that, but I ultimately didn't care for it. Not sure I really understood the concept behind mix-n-match costumes.

    However, I will say it's a great idea and one that would improve costume use for those that prefer wearing them.

    What I meant was you get a blank costume. You have to randomly pick the head, chest, legs, feet, belt, gloves, and shoulders from a list of all of the clothing modules in the game. After you select what you want the costume to look like, you then get to color it in. This is where the list of dyes would come in. Does that make sense?

    I get your concept. What I don't understand is the desire behind that concept. But I feel you ;)

    I am 100% for this, with the stipulation that the selected models are limited to what you can craft per character. That way motifs are still meaningful. Additionally, it would be wise if we could have any of the slots be empty. Toggling the helmet was a great start, but why not gloves, or shoes, or shoulders or belts? Bosmer are always running around barefoot, gloves/bracers constantly get in the way of sleeves for light armor, and shoulder armor covers up tattoos that I'm sure some of us would love to show off. Think of the possibilities!

    Like I said, I feel you. We could definitely use more customization. If anything, I would love more styles, dyes to actually resemble their color, regardless of the weight of armor they're placed on and possibly the option to re-style dropped sets.

    I like the idea of guild emblems on certain gear. As for mix and match costumes, I have seen it before in a beta. It seems like a lot of programming as it did not work well and didn't make it to the release version. I think it had to do with how some costumes fit with other parts. In the beta there were a lot of graphical errors and missing parts. I'm not really interested, but if they can pull it off, its ok.

    I know I remember... Still though if they could get through all of those programming bugs they could then make a ton of money off of us haha. Imagine them selling dyes and some rare clothing parts, I know at least that I would be willing to spend a fair amount of money to get my look down.
