The most epic scroll recovery story in history (Blackwater Blade EU/PC)

You take a scroll, you run it back to a keep. This is generally how the story goes. But yesterday in nonvet, we had a laugh after an EP carrier fell into the lava around Chorrol.
A few of us at DC rushed there and used some of the best team work I've ever seen in this game. No lie.
A handful destroyed the AD that came for it (mostly made up of Nightblades and Sorcs, but that's another story) while the rest of DC formed a line, passing the scroll across to the end of the lava trail as they died. I jumped on the lowest platform I could find and asked the last guy to drop it, so I could see if it was possible for me to pick it up from the rocks I was on. It worked, but I thought there was no way to get back up.
People up top began casting rapid, allowing me to jump from rock to rock, finding platforms I could land on until I eventually made it out alive, to my surprise. We stood around for 30 seconds in awe of what just took place. It was the weirdest, but coolest recovery I've ever witnessed.

It's events like this that certainly keep PVP.. interesting. You guys have any stories like this regarding scroll runs?

I brought a scroll to Bravil, the town in Cyrodiil near the gate of mnem surrounded entirely by cyrodiil with 2 other friends and no one could get across to the city because of the slaughter fish. It was funny but not as good as this one (:

Sounds familiar to the great scroll heist of Thornblade from what now over a year ago? Back when I was pretty much only AD.

Our runner accidentally fell in, and the scroll sat there for nearly 45 minutes with both AD and DC pouring in. The camp spam was real, maybe 15-20 camps used on just AD side?

Me and a templar hatched a crazy plan to get it out, involving him healing me until i could just get on the ledge, and that worked. I was able to pick it up anyway.

But the problem was I was stuck down there on a ledge, surrounded by lava and no way out. DC on one side, AD on the other.

But see I was a DK, and this was before they clipped our wings.

I tab targeted the closest DC I could, and majestically soared out of that pit. I would then be zerged down by the 20+ DC there, BUT THE SCROLL WAS FREE.

The rest of AD quickly wiped the DC, recovered the scroll, and took off like hell south, we had maybe 5 minutes left on the timer at this point.

And then.... Havoc from EP nailed us, not a single red had been seen thus far, but here they were, 15 or so of them, and off they ran with the scroll.

I dont remember if they even capped it, or just left it somewhere to reset, but your story reminded me of my moment of sunshine. 45k AP from tagging all the DC that kept dying, and a memory of saving the day only to be trumped by reds out of nowhere.

Did this the other day on Azura EU, some AD guy decided to "troll" and jumped down in the lava. But he did not forsee that our french monster dennegor would leap down, pick it up and majesticly retreat like a true frenchmen with his shadow image!
