Craglorn quests
Just hit vr14 after doing Cadwells gold, are the craglorn quests soloable for someone who likes a challenge?? Or should I say **** it and go wrothgar??

✭✭✭For many Craglorn quests you need 4 players to trigger certain things.
Therefore, many Craglorn quests aren't soloable.

✭✭IIRC, there are at most three, and probably only 2, Craglorn quests that are locked by group numbers. In one, you need three to unlock a door, and in the final Lower Crag quest you need four to gain entry. The rest can be done solo, if you have the cajones. All the grouped ones are in Lower Crag. While you can't complete the final Upper Crag quest without completing Lower Crag first, you can still do most of them. If you can complete these solo, good on you. Kinda sorta, but they've been nerfed a lot and are pretty weak right now. What kind of build you're running? Perhaps we could help you optimize it a bit and you'd have less issues then:)
Oh, also, look out for Crag archers. Taking Aim oneshots you so those need to be interrupted/dodged/killed fast.0 -
Tbh it's probably a rubbish build, just play it to have fun but I am vr 14, 5 piece julianos, 4 piece eyes of Mara magicka nb, purple quality gear, dw with sharpened traits, medium armor x5 1x light, 1x heavy 0

Skills are inner light, reapers mark, sap essence, crippling grasp and funnel health, have vr 10 epic food eaten at all times look forward to hearing what I can improve 0

Well if you're just playing for fun and don't want to minimax or anything you may just want to find a buddy to do those quests along with you - they did fix quest phasing so you don't need to be on same step of quest anymore, even people who have already completed all the quests can tag along with you.
If you'd like to optimize it a bit...the sets are actually not bad and DW is good for the spelldamage bonus, but why are you running medium armor as a magicka build(or was that a typo?)?o:0 -
I started getting traits for medium as my first build was stamina, then didn't like it, so slowly getting the traits for light armor now but don't have alot lol, unfortunately due to personal reasons I don't have many friends

✭✭✭✭✭With the exception of the two quests already mentioned and the Spellscar daily ques (Critical Mass), there are no player number requirements.
The quest line will take you into most if the dungeons and one of the daily quest sites (the School of Warriors).
The delves are 4-person instances and stuff in them doesn't respawn while you are in there. So you can go in and have at. Most groups of mobs are at least half a dozen and you have to be aware of what's varound you.
The bosses will be challenging to solo, but it has been done, so go have fun!The Moot Councillor0 -

Ah I see. I'd craft for you if you were NA PC but you said you're console:/ Perhaps try to find a crafter through zchat/guilds? If you can upgrade it on your own(or provide the mats) getting white vet 14 armor shouldn't cost too much(you could also go 5 Julianos+4 Seducer or something for mag management, I don't quite remember Mara bonuses but Seduce is only 3 traits as opposed to 8 so there're a lot more people out there able to make it). Either way even if you go 5 Seducer+4 whatever else magicka-related for now(Magnus?)(since it's only 3-4 traits) with 5 light armor you'll probably find yourself MUCH better off than in 5 medium(no matter the sets)
Unfortunately I can't help you too much with NB skills as it's literally the only class I've never played lol. Perhaps someone else could help you with that. I do know NBs have it good atm though, the damage+HoTs make for great dps AND surviveability. I don't know skills' names though.

Nah I'll just keep struggling lol like dying tbh, it means I have something to work on, like I then got revenge on those crocs, finished a delve, and am killing 7mobs or so per group despite numerous deaths it's quite fun Imo 0

I have super high tolerance for dying in ESO, I've 2 manned most vet dungeons in this game Dying matters little as long as you're having fun and feel like you're progressing/learning how to progress at least. 0 -

✭Even with medium skill some of the skyshards can be obtained depending on how deep they are in the delves. All delves are designed to be group delves but if you can solo any group delve I think you can solo these (I can't). If you are just going for the shards take plenty of soul gems with you and ghost walk past the group that killed you and give the next group a try until you get to the shard. If the shard is surrounded focus on them one at a time between deaths and try to get them all before they respawn.
Overland is pretty easy as long as you can avoid the High HP mobs. Be careful of the Welwa that morph and as stated make sure you find the Archer that says "taking aim" and kill or at least interrupt them before they get their shot off. They can one shot just about anything, at least anything that doesn't have to stand there half a day fighting them. Also watch out for some of the casters with fear (or whatever its called). If you get stunned by yourself in a large group, you are toast.
Anyways, I don't consider myself a great player and this is how I survive. I can take just about any mob or pest overland and some of the bosses solo, that said I have yet to complete any quest there (and get credit for it). If I try to go with a group I tend to miss some small something that they don't see because they have already done it, and I don't get credit for completing it.Proud member of the Psijic Order - The first wave - The 0.016%0 -
