Large vs Small PvP group rewards

Do you have to be in large groups to get rewards in PvP after capturing keeps etc? I mean I'm in a small group and we've done scouting, assisted larger groups and captured resources; however, I've yet to see any rewards when we capture keeps etc with the larger groups. I have a feeling I should be in groups larger > 5 (haha).

I'm also feeling like my lvl 41 High Elf Sorcerer who is both a healer and deals dps isn't benefiting from primarily being a healer. I just don't know.

You'll get rewards for participating in player combat. It won't matter how many people are in your group as long as you're dealing damage to most of the enemies and healing most of your allies. Healers typically receive more AP as well, so that's a good focus to have if rewards are your goal.

Yep, once you get a certain amount of AP you'll receive a bag in the mail with gold, a random item, and maybe a filled soul gem. This will keep happening until you reach the max rank (for now).
