Fix the game. Seriously I'm getting tired of all the lag and glitches in pvp. 10fps is getting old as well.

As cool as it is to hear about thieves guild and the dark brotherhood, i'd really hope all the manpower is being used to fix the game first. You don't add on to a house that has a bad foundation do you? You can try and funnel everyone away from pvp, but eventually they will get tired of pve and come back. Then we'll rinse and repeat the same old issues.
Seriously fix the game first...

Hey look. Another PvP QQ topic. About the same thing that has been QQ'd over and over for the past gods know how long. There are fixes to PvP coming in the Thieves Guild base patch. PvP is always an on-going development since ZOS can't test the fixes internally.

Well ZOS is Craftier than Larissa for putting Weeklies behind a DLC paywall that counts for existing content. So, instead of updating existing trials and DSA to V16 (like they did for undaunted dungeons), you can pick up a weekly quest (behind the paywall) and then redo that content for endgame gear (BOP of course). That is pretty crafty isn't it? Making you repay to play existing content if you want the gear?

As for PvP, they have promised us a fix since they royally screwed it up with the lighting/botting patch (and probably reduced the server resource allocation) back when they ignored PvP for a year. How many years are we going to give them to fix PvP?

PvP worked at one time, with 100s of players on screen. They they either broke it with a patch or reduced the internal resources for it. They are apparently unwilling to add more server space or roll back the patch so now they are sacrificing deer (and max server pop) one by one to try to get it to work.

Overall I don't see that ZOS is at all commited to PvP or the PvP community. Good thing there are other PvP games coming soon that actually do care.

Funnily enough I've gotten more of these set pieces from Cyrodiil Dolmens than the Orsinium dailies (I'll admit I don't do the dailies much too).

Fixed that for you. There is nothing that prevents them from logging in without admin rights and testing new stuff as a regular player.

Actually, there is. They don't have enough people to full stress test the changes on their internal servers. That is something they've said repeatedly. When the next DLC and patch go onto the PTS, they will be doing the stress testing there with the community that have the PTS downloaded.

Agree with this^. The lag is not only in Cyrodiil, it's in the PVE areas as well. Dungeons, world boss fights, everywhere.

Lag is getting ridiculous. The only way to avoid it is to play early in the AM, and even then it's spotty at best. It's sad when lag and glitches are to be expected daily. So far my favorites are...

-unable to use any move. Literally can cast nothing lol. The character might go through half the animation but nothing comes out, repeatedly until you die.

-10fps constantly

-complete loss of a resource pool. Not to be confused with the glitch were you die and all your bars go to nothing while you run around. Literally just walked jumped down from a keep and lost all my stamina, as a Stam based character...

-unable to switch weapons in combat and/or sever lag time while doing so.

-having to constantly switch weapons to pick something up/use shrine/door

--unable to cc break in any timely fashion. Can constantly pull 2 frame complicated MKX combos but you're telling me I can successfully hit two buttons at the same time?

True, there is a lot of lag issues in PvE areas, though not as impactful.

Still, if you remove PvP from the game, the forums become much less toxic. I also don't get why a PvP person talks about DLC. They don't need DLC. They just want updates to Cyrodiil, a base game area, and potentially arenas. They don't care about content.

PS4 player here:

1) Lag in cyrodiil since launch - pvp problem
2) Randoms crash - pvp and pve problem
3) Pvp since IC DLC is now worse than ever (wanna have lots of dps and lots of defense? go for sword and shield) pvp complain
4) New DLC's coming without even fixing the known issues - pvp and pve problem
5) Unable to get fighter's guild rank 10! Yes, you read this right. For some reason my fighter's guild is stuck on rank 9, so I called the support and they told me they are aware of the problem and are going to fix it. When? NO ETA. Does that sound familiar?? NO ETA?? - GAME PROBLEM
6) New updates for consoles with known bugs. OK, I get it, you know the problem and dont have enough time to make it right before the update. So cancel the damn update and make it right.

And I hope they remove pvp from the game. PVE players will have a much less toxic forum and I could finally stop playing this game and move on
