    Largely unnecessary at this point. They'd be nice, sure, but they're not vital to the survival of the game just yet.

    There is a new trial though...that is definitely cool.

    Imagine how unbalanced the game would be then :p I'm happy for them to get the current skills/classes balanced, then they can add more.

    They can find a way for it to work. Theves guild probably have some improvments to justice and theif system. There is your way of leveling it without the DLC. (But the dlc can make it easier to level, just like osirium has done with crafting)

    Edit: or they can make the skill lines level with both XP and DLC content

    YA this is crap. THey are guilds therefore they should get skill lines. Bottom line. End of story. No reason for them to get worse treatment then fighters guild and mages guild. What crap. If they dont have skills ready then they shouldnt release it because it is not finished!

    You can level up fighters and mage's guild skill line without doing quest.

    Who cares about new trials. We want new skill lines that we can use for more builds! The fact that PvP balance slows this down is so aggravating ! PvP slows the progress of this game down completely !

    No i would not be happy. it is the theives GUILD. it should receive the same treatment as the other guilds. 4 skills, an ultimate, and passives.

    No i would not be happy. it is the theives GUILD. it should receive the same treatment as the other guilds. 4 skills, an ultimate, and passives.
    What if I said that was the thieves guild skilline however because the justice system came out early that had to call it something else.

    You could add a number of things such as skills that buff and debuff. Another place to get major expedition or dodge chance. Or perhaps a place to gain minor dodge chance. An ability that makes you move faster while stealthed. Or an ability that trades mag for stamina or something. Another heal. An ultimate that reduces damage or heals or buffs a group or something. If you want to take the route of non violent abilities you can. You can add abilities that buff and debuff wothout giving them something like cloak to render a NB useless.

    I don't think a potential skill line should be in competition with NB skill lines. That is not how guild skill lines should work. A thieves guild skill line should no more make NB skills obsolete than the mages guild skill line makes sorcerer skills obsolete. If anything, the thieves guild skill line should make NB more powerful, just like how certain mages guild skills benefit magicka sorcs (and other magicka characters).

    Why would you expect that? Can you point to any other skills in the game that are dependent on paid DLC content?

    Thats my point. It doesnt have to be in competition with a NB. There are plenty of skills that could be made that will not compete with a NB. Again, from buffs to debuffs heals damage mitgation etc. All could still fall in a theme with thieves guild and not compete with NB.

    Regardless, It is not my job to come up with these skills. ZOS introduced the guild skills and then refused to add skills to new guilds. Additionally, how can you justify adding skills for 2 guilds but not to other guilds? Are those guilds better? Why shoudl they get special treatment? Casue ZOS doesnt want to make new skills? That is BS! Hell brotherhood and theives guild is viewed by many as the best 2 guilds in any TES game. To wait so long for two DLC that turned out to get unequal treatment is annoying. Not only should they have had both of these guilds in when the game came out since they are so central to TES games, but it got pushed back and pushed back just to be released half-***. Im sorry but for me this is where I draw the line with ZOS. This is half-ass and a lazy attempt to get out the only remaining DLC they had so that they could make some money.

    While it would be nice to have a guild line that buffs stamina the way mages guild buffs magicka, it seems odd that thieves guild would do that. The magicka buff feels natural for mages guild. It would feel a bit tacked on for thieves guild because thieves don't revolve around enhancing their stamina use. The again, linking stamina with leather armor does make it feel more tied to thieves.

    The NB and Legerdemain makes it hard to have meaningful skills for both thieves guild and dark brotherhood. NB has an entire assassination skill line. Assassination is exactly what NB does. Cloak is something you would expect from both TG and DB.

    ZOS was clever to make fighers guild skills focused on daedra and not just plain fighting. What theme would make sense for TG or DB?

    Add another mag line and another stam line. Use TG for the stamin line. As you side a closer link to stamina with thieves generally wearing leather. Plus, Stamina for sneaking. You can then use this line for buffs and debuffs for stamina users. It could be a different variation of a dodge chance skill or speed buffs etc. Maybe even a CC. This would keep true to the TG mantra of not killing.

    DB can use dark magic. Could provide some buffs or pets, or some DOT but anything that focuses on the dark side of magic. This also stay true to the DB who have been known to use all kinds of dark magic in lore.

    Adding another mag and stam skill line would keep the game balanced. The themes discussed would keep it distinct from NB while staying consistent with the themes of both guilds. It would gives skills to 2 guilds that should have it anyway because 2 other guilds do. It would also create more diversity and bring excitement back to the game which improves the QOL.
