Are You A Male Who Use A Female Character The Most

In most RPGs I play male characters cos it's obviously easier for me to put myself in the shoes of a man and experience stories as some version of "me". As such, technically my main character is male.

However I ended up playing female characters more cos once it turned out that I am much better at playing Sorc than NB, so my Altmer Sorc has become my actual main.

Also I'll be honest, once I stopped treating ESO as a RPG first, and MMO 2nd, I didn't care about roleplay immersion anymore and then it's just nicer to look at pretty girls than dudes for hours at a time.

Yeah, it's a matter or personal taste at the end, I've just had issues playing a male elf in TES for whatever reason, going all the way back to oblivion, I actually think they look decent in ESO, but I just have a hard time creating a male elf I'm 100% satisfied with, though I probably could manage it with a dunmer I reckon, given I spend a lot of time in char creation.

I have 2 males and 1 female in ESO, and my main character is one of the males.

However, if you count all of my Elder Scrolls characters from Morrowind to ESO (haven't gotten around to the earlier ones yet!), I have 4 male and 4 female characters in total.

Edit: Wow this thread is back... I have since gotten around to the earlier games and made a lot more characters in ESO and it's still even.

I can't ever get comfortable being a female character and I've tried a few times.

I have both male and female characters. Though I like to play my female characters, I dont quite as much just due to the fact that I don't like getting hit on lol.

Personally I just assume we are all dudes in game and then there is no uncomfortable situations.

Yeah, none of the options apply to me. I'm in the same boat as some of the other people commenting: between my accounts I've got about the same number of male and female characters, and while I don't play each individual character equally, my total time playing male characters is probably roughly equivalent to my total time playing female characters.

I have 1 male character, my original main Haan Zolo. I retired him and hes now just my crafter. The other 7 characters are all female. I wouldn't mind playing a male character, they just feel so damn clunky to me. We (hubby and I) joke that Haan is derpy and slow and I had a hell of a time playing him (back when no one used 2H or a Templar let alone together) but I have since tried to make another male and play him but it always feels so... off. So maybe it wasn't just Haan lol!

I choose the gender in Games based mostly on how the characters look, move, and sound but I generally play male characters because that's what I am.

I could never really make male characters in WoW because they all looked effing ridiculous, but I play the standard male character in Mass Effect for example because that character is designed to look like a relatively normal individual and isn't hyper-sexualized so it doesn't seem as weird.

For ESO, both genders are represented with fairly normal, um, dimensions so I normally default to playing a male, but I don't think it's weird to play a character of the opposite gender either.

Male who plays mostly female characters. I just enjoy customizing and playing as a female character a lot more. I have a few male characters in other MMO's (WoW), but in ESO they're all female.

There is not choice for me since I don't use any one char "most," what with having multiple characters on PC NA and on PC EU and of those, I have both male and female chars. I am female.

I make my chars based on what I envision them to be in the setting, not based on how I would see myself in the setting. All games I have played for that matter, I usually have at least two if not more "mains" and at least one of them is inevitably male.

Go look at the "what do you look like" thread. Not only are there over a dozen women in that thread, none are ugly, and many are quite attractive. This game appeals to women more than a lot of other games out there.
