New Patch broke my game
So my husband and I have only been playing for a couple of weeks. Yesterday's patch was the second one we have been through. After it we could not load the game at all. Tried the repair, several times, tried waiting, searched for the exo.exe file in the client in order to bypass the launcher. It was not there, but a button saying "install_eso" was. Did that..it took all night. This morning...same thing. So now another day is wasted because of having to do a completely new install.On two computers.
Frankly I am afraid of your patches now.
As a new customer, very not happy.
if this happens again is there any "fix" other that what we are doing now?

Wily_Wizard✭✭✭Welcome to ESO. Unfortunately there are a lot of bug/issues still present in ESO on some PC's.
The good news is, if you can find a way to get in the game its pretty awesome, with a descent community.
The bad news is, it may take a lot of patience at times when the game is crashing/broken.
Keep an eye out for the next big update, they are releasing a 64 bit client version that they say has a "ton of updates and fixes".

✭The launcher and installation of this game are brutal. Be grateful you didn't install ESO into a /games directory. It wipes out the entire directory of everything. Lost about 40 games with all sorts of registry issues afterward. Just thankful it was just games I lost.
For some reason, it feels like this section is largely unsupported and neglected, which I don't get. New customer experience is a big deal.0 -

What directory are you looking in to find the Eso.exe file? Hi guys.....we finally got it working. For some reason, there really was NO exe file where it should have been. After much work, we got it back and have made a shortcut around the launcher.
I am looking forward to a 64 bit version, as we are running 64 bit OSs.
So we have been busy in game rather than on here...Thanks all for your suggestions and concern.
