Focus in area damage worth? (only pvp)

Thinking in start a new char. I was thinking in something i don't have and that is some kind of area damage dealer.

Only areas skills, is that worth!? Areas do a lot of damage or are caped or something?

What class do you recommend me? Sorc?

That wouldn't work unless literally the only thing you ever do in the game is roll in a large group in pvp. You're going to need some single target and utility skills, so there wouldn't really be any point to doing this.

Well not 100% of all skills. But who has the better skills that do area damage?

None, weapon skill: Steel Tornado. All you'll ever need in ESO.

The last skill in the destruction skill line is magicka player-based aoe. One of the morphs has a useful debuff that reduces enemies health by 10% for a period of time.

As far as class based magicka aoe is concerned, nightblade is by far the best here. Sap Essence does great damage and healing at the same time, and combine that with buffs, clouding swarm, and proximity detonation, and you can put out a lot of damage.
