Is this kind of damage in ICP normal? Don't recall going down so easily before. I mean, sure I didn't block, but still seems excessive????

    It's an enrage mechanic, if you leave the flesh atronachs alive in ICP too long, they enrage and one shot anyone regardless of health/mitigation/etc. You have almost two whole minutes to kill one from your engagement with it, if you cannot kill one in two minutes then you likely need to reevaluate your builds.

    You have 90 seconds to kill any flesh atro in ICP or they enrage and one-shot anyone. In the Ibomez fight you need to debuff the atros if you want to kill them or you'll never do enough damage.

    yes that is normal value i believe. its a one shot that is designed to kill even a tank who is blocking if the flesh atronarch enrages. thank god they nerfed their enrage timers.

    I hate vICP second boss. so much mechanics and as the tank i always feel like I'm not doing enough to contribute. just stand tanking the add and interupt boss when its needed. everyone else is doing what they normally do as well as running around throwing pods everywhere.

    Start using the nuke tactic and you'll have plenty to do:

    Everybody DPS boss until he runs to the pond and gets a damage shield. Tank keeps boss and any atros taunted. Healer should help with resource management (ele drain, spear shards, orbs) while still doing DPS. While boss has his shield, debuff and kill any atros that are up. Then focus boss exclusively and whack him 'till dead. Tank will have to manage stamina HARD to keep boss and all atros taunted.

    Don't forget to throw the slimy green bombs onto the Atronachs as soon as they spawn. That makes it easier to DPS them down. I'm not sure if it reduces their HP or armor (frankly, I never have time to stand around in Vet ICP and look at the numbers), but they're a lot easier to kill that way.

    Even in normal mode, DPS-rush isn't for everyone.

    It helps if you give each person a role.
    • Healer: Covers the side with 2 doors (right-side from the room entrance).
    • 1st DD: Stays with the tank and focuses any atronachs first, then boss.
    • 2nd DD: Covers the side with 3 doors (one door is to the left of the room entrance) and damages atro/boss when able.
    • Tank: Stays with the boss, taunts any atronachs and keeps boss aggro'd.

    (Cover meaning to throw bombs on zombies running from their allocated doors)

    When the boss turns green, I like to get the tank to help throw bombs since this is when the zombies rush out. He also takes reduced damage while green, so not much is lost having the tank help out.

    For added lulz, after the third watcher there's a group with 2 flesh atros on the right, next to a cliff, and another with 1 flesh atro on the left. Try to pull both groups and kill all atros without an enrage. If that's not challenging enough, try to do it while also fighting the 3rd and 4th watchers and their adds :lol:
