Nord is only a good choice if you prefer the lore, or want to play intentionally handicapped.
It is never a good choice when it comes to the criteria of making a strong and efficient build though.
The same could be said for Argonians.
None of these. Learn basic game mechanics. Hybrid builds are basically useless and it sounds like u wanna play a Magicka character, but 2H'er is not a Magicka-based weapon and neither of the 2 races mentioned have any Magicka bonuses.
Of course if you're a roleplayer and don't care about performance at all, then just choose and do whatever you enjoy the most. But then just accept u'll get rekt 99% of the time in PvP.

Broaden your mind. Doesn't necessarily need to be an actual hybrid build if they're using it for the gap closer. Magicka DKs have to get it from one of two places, one is more defensive, one is more offensive.

Why? Cause I love challenges and want to be one of the first ones to build a character in a way that people say is "basically useless" and have it perform well.
That goes for the "useless" class, Templar.
