Weird thing about lag times with new console

Hey guys. So over the holidays I was vacationing in Germany and the Czech Republic. When I got home, guess what? My home had been broken into and several things were taken. One of those things was my PS4 with my ESO disc still in the console. You'll never guess what I did the next day. You're right!! I went out and bought a new PS4 and ESO disc. (Yep. Had to start all over from scratch.)
So the weird thing is this. With my old console and disc, I never experienced lag times like some of you talk about, never experienced long loading screens. But now, I'm getting both of those things and a lot of other crazy things also. I had a loading screen that lasted so long the other night that I finally just turned off the console. And tonight, I was in a dungeon as a healer, and right in the heat of the battle, none of my healing spells would cast. (Sorry to those folks in my group) I can't see any reason why a different console or disc would cause these problems. IDK, what do you guys think?

beerninja✭✭✭Why did you start from scratch? You can recover your psn id by just logging in and your characters are saved on the server, not on your hdd2 -
hatchet1✭@beerninja , I tried to do that. I was thinking the same thing. But I just never could get it to work. PSN would not allow me to put in my id. It would say that the account already existed. Duh, its mine and I'm trying to sign in, but it just never worked out for me. I'm sure that i was doing something wrong. But whatever, it's still fun. It's nice to watch my characters level up. Maybe it's not too late to try and log in to my other account and recover my characters.0

Hostee✭✭✭its because you have to create a new local user on the ps4 first, then login with your old psn email and password.
