crafting noob question

Ok I have been deconing everything through the game and am level 50 on wood, cloth, blacksmith, and alchemy. I am currently working on enchanting and them moving to provisioning. I have been doing research also so am doing well there.

My question.

I am vr 16 and want to start crafting my current end game gear and don't know what I want to do. I like the vr 10 gear I am wearing (necopentce or something like that) that give me massive magica boots. I was wondering if there is a way to craft this gear in the style I want at vr 16 or can you only do the certain sets at the special forges?

Also is there an end all be all special forge where you can make any set or do you have to go to the certain forge to create the sets?

so the main reply is no you cant.. . I know of this list. I was just wondering if you could make the game drop ones. But I guess these should be better so I just have to dig through them and piece meal it together.

Arch Mage gives good stats
(2 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(5 items) Fully charged heavy attacks restore 627 Magicka.

yes but no. I really like the 5 pc set effect of 10% extra magica. That give me like an extra 4k or so.

I am thinking about going with the twice born star set though and getting half of it that way and then doing another set to help add to it.

I run 5 piece Law of Julianos and 3 piece archmage for the spell damage but it would be nice to craft some of these other sets

another question. does a 2hand staff count as 1 or 2 in the eyes of piece set?

I have never looked in to this. But I run 2 swords on one and a staff as backup. I like the extra dmg I get with the swords.

So If I make my 2h staff and my 2 swords and switch back and forth would I loose my 5 set because it would view the staff as 1?

Only counts as 1 so have to make sure that it's crafted as part of the set you need , sword and board count as 2 not sure on dual weld but I'm guessing also counts as 2

I don't think that is fair.... for mages......
Since a staff takes up 2h it should count as 2....

If you end up going TBS don't put it on your weapons because when you switch to your back bar then you lose the second mundus effect and you'll have to go back to the mundus stone to reactivate it. At least that's what I've heard.

so what about this.

5 armor TB
stones would be the mage and apprentice

other 2 armor and 2 swords and staff would be eye of mara

jewelry willpower set

Id legendary the set and enchant with the following

armor- max magica
weapons - deal magic dmg and absorb magica
jewelry - spell dmg.

do you think that would be a good build for dps src?
