Would you prefer a compass bar or a mini-map? [Consoles]

Due to ongoing changes and updates I'd like to resurrect, mini-map to replace the compass bar. Prior to me getting into closed PC beta, there were references made to an on screen mini map, which for those who played WoW, this was similar but the placement was different. In context, the mini map has the compass but also contained a smaller version of the map while playing that seems like it would be better. I don't know the state of that mini map before it was removed but for a discussion, I'd like to propose a poll to resurrect the topic.

because in case you are PC, then for compass and mimimap there are addons

I use both all the time. While I can't live without my minimap (thank you, addons!), I wouldn't want to lose the compass either. Having both is perfect.

I have both PC and console BUT I play on Xbox one 99% of the time. On PC it's mainly for PTS
I liked this prior to console release but it's not something we can use on consoles and unless changes have occurred, this isn't compatible with the game pad UI for PC. Add-one are enabled tho

Actually I should have voted for the "toggle either/or" option.

Personally I would only use the minimap (what I use currently through an addon), because it does everything the compass does and more.

But I think options are always the best for personal customization.

I like ESO for its clutter-free environments. The compass is perfect and I wouldn't change it at all.

I was fiddling with a fuller immersion addon just for questing that fades even the compass bar so all you see is cardinal headings. It was nice, but I'm trying to reduce the number of addons so off it went.
