All this exists in existing structures, and most of it is in place for the alliance bases. Except for creating buildings all the mechanisms are already in place, the players just don't have access to them. And creating buildings is coming in 2016 as player housing.

^this. Although I'd like it to be expanded, maybe allowing members of the guild that 'owns' it to add items to the castle (an actual guild trader, crafting areas, defences etc) that can be purchased using income from the resources around the castle.
Moats around keeps with a drawbridge or 2 would be awesome. Lava moats around Glademist keep would be super awesome . Maybe some landing pads for dragon leapers

That's a workable approach too, because what's missing from keeps you take now is the ability to customize or add anything.
