Wrothgar dailiy quests are not Guild friendly

Whilst you can share all six boss quests in Wrothgar it is not exactly suitable for a guild event
To begin with you can start sharing quests before accepting a quest yourself but at some point in the sharing you will lose the ability to accept a quest of your own
I assume this is because your character will be assigned a quest for the day when you first log in to Wrothgar
if this quest is one of the quests you pick up as a share then you have done your quest for the day and cant receive a quest from the quest giver
What this means is that you cant have a group of six guild mates and make an event out of this because at some point in the event one or more of us may have shared our allotted daily quest, meaning we would have to ask for outside help to hand us any quests we haven't received
Why?
the whole idea is to encourage grouping isn't it, so why not make it group\guild friendly

Off the top of my head I can see a simple workaround, but it might not make you too popular with the regulars that do the dailies there :)

    - All of your party go check the quest giver to see what he has to offer but do not accept the quests yet.
    - One of you accept his quest and then have him share it.
    - Do the quest, hand it in and have another one of your group accept their quest, share until you have run out of dailies from the quest giver. Rinse and repeat.
    - Now look out others in /zone LFGing for the quests you haven't done, have one of your group drop from your group and get an invite and ask for the quest to be shared. they then drop the new group, regroup with you and he shares the quest. Do the same for each of the dailies you haven't done. Bingo.

As I said you might not be popular dropping from outside groups all the time :)

Every day you're assigned to a random daily. So chances are, if there are 6 of you, there are going to be multiple people assigned to the same daily (before you even know this). I find in a full raid of 24, we'll still run into this.

I always had the impression that it was a happy accident we got to share those quests in the first place.
I doubt they meant for the Lucky Seven achievement (complete 7 group boss daily quests) to be done in a day but they decided to leave it since we found it fun and sociable.

@Xendyn hit the nail on the head.

Basically its a bug that players made use off.

But in anycase, how much fun would it be to steamroll these events with 24 players?
Could you actually do more than 2 bosses before quitting and playing something fun?

@Xendyn You may be right, but I recall seeing a thread shortly after the Orsinium launch asking if they were supposed to share, and someone from Zos answered yes :) Either they really did mean them to share... or made the decision really fast to keep the "bug"

Once you run out of quests you could always ask in zone. Just be honest. "Guild group looking for X boss daily quest" and invite that random to your group! They'll probably be glad to find an instant group, and you guys will get the quest!

You can also store the quests on alts and mules then temporarily join the group share the quest then jump back on the toon you want to play. I actually 2 man these bosses everyday (with someone who can solo them, I'm not that good lol) and since there are only 2 we can get in our group we have to use the jump on alts method because we are too impatient to wait for the ones we need in the zone. It works out rather nice and we can get them all done in well under an hour.

I honestly think the bug is with sharing the delves, not with the bosses. Either way, I don't see it changing.

As for PvE being solo, the world bosses here are definitely 4 to 8 person tasks. Most people don't want the difficulty of 4 person, but Edu, Nature's Bounty, Nyz, and Mad Ogre can all be done with a good 4 person group. Poachers and Unfinished Dolmen require some massive AoE control, but are better for 8 person.

I realize some people can solo them, but that's not the norm.

Most PUG wants at least 12 though, which can be slow.

Actually, it's very guild friendly PvE if you're in the right guild, but if you're primarily a PvPer in a PvP guild, you won't see it that way.

Yes, because the new 12-man trial coming in TG is solo PvE...

It's quite easy to explain briefly in group chan "leaving group now but coming back in a sec with 10 guildies, wait for us"

PUGs in Wrothgar tend to be a bit shy and are always happy when there are more people to fight these bosses (some of them can indeed be pretty nasty). The more the merrier.

These daily quests only encourage random groups who disperse after each quest and not the team spirit of a guild

That will be 1.5 years since the last group PvE content release. They couldn't even be bothered to scale the previous Trials to v16, so we've been left with nothing for the past 6 months.

That better be one hell of a Trial to keep us occupied for another 1.5 years.

Then organise them? The bosses are often up for quite a while before a group with the quest starts ca,ping them from experience if you're not on peak times.

In my casual guild we'll have to wait 6 months before it gets nerfed (while watching other people's videos), and then we will need another 6 months to work on it to beat it and then another 6 months to beat the speedruns/hard mode of it. That's 1.5 years ;-)

Notice in that last 1.5 years the only major expansion other that the two new DLC's was Craglorn. Now they are releasing new content much, much faster so there's a very small chance they'll leave it that long to bring out a new Trial. But of course, you're being unnecessarily negative at everything so I'll leave you to it.

Oh, that's a good idea! Heck, I could even log on to my other account on my laptop to do that without having to relog on the character I'm actually playing at the time. Although then I'd have to either re-sub on my second account or buy the DLC. I was eventually going to do one or the other of those things, but I hadn't planned on it for a while.

Anyway, I get in a group each night, they are always Pugs, and we can do all 6 bosses most nights. On those nights when we can't get to all of them, I am still doing 4 or 5 of them. I leveled a character from VR14 to VR15 just doing World Boss Dailies.
