PC EU Azura- night capping question

So my question to all you DC lifeless, jobless, sleepless scrubs is, dont you feel shame when you night cap every other night??? EP extremely rerely does this, AD 1-2 time in last couple of months, but DC in only last week did atleast 2-3 times. Crowning emperor and taking every single scroll of the map, making rest of us spend all day regaining what we lost during the night cap. Pls, grow a pair of balls and stop night capping.

There is no such thing as 'night-capping'. When you are tucked up in bed with your coco and teddy bear, somewhere on this planet, it is daytime. Those people who live there have just as much right to play and take objectives as the rest of us.

This is what you get with a 27/7 campaign. I'm afraid you'll have to get used to it...

What difference does it make?

Your day is someone else's night. How do you think they feel about you day cappers? Taking back the map after they painstakingly turned it overnight?

To me it doesn't make a difference how you play. Day or night. Giant zergs or well organized party. Enjoy the game. Have fun and enjoy the fact that you actually have some objectives that you can accomplish. After all, if the map is completely covered with your colour, you can't take over a keep.

OP, I work 60 hours a week, I have a family. My 2 days off are tues and wed so I play quite early into the morning mon and tues nights. It's the only time I get to PvP. Should I not?

Bla Bla Bla Australians Bla Bla Bla 24/7 campaigns Bla Bla Bla

That argument is completely irrelevant and I'll tell you why :

Australians exist, yes, they fight during the day when it's the night for most Europeans yes.

But just like Europeans, there's no reason that ALL australians are in one single faction. So the outcome of an australian day shouldn't result in a map fully turned one colour with all the scrolls, UNLESS some guild decided to PvD the whole map without opposition.

When in the middle of the night/day one faction is pop locked and the others are low, it's not a case of night shift workers or Australians, give me a break.

In any case, turning the whole map to your colour is rarely a result of PvP, but PvD, and I'll never understand why people join Cyrodil, a PvP zone, and enjoy doing zero PvP, whether it's daytime or nighttime

Because tbh, what's the point in capturing all scrolls/keeps if no one else is playing the map? There's zero challenge/achievement/reward for doing so, unless.... you are in fact not Australian and plan on playing both night and day to take advantage of the scroll bonuses that you earned so cheaply.
It's never a good feeling to log on and to see you are locked back at your gates. I don't think people would complain if the nightcappers only took the majority of the keeps, and not the whole map.

Honestly, some guilds do actually like the AvA PvWall thing and really that's all they're good at! Let them do it I say, if it brings the fights closer to home then that's great. Scroll defence is literally one of my favourite things if we're outnumbered not to mention the ticks. But, I don't care about DC anymore tbh, the 4 guilds that run Azura cause nothing but lag in my eyes. I don't give a damn who has what keep or who's winning. Just love the fight!

I do absolutely hate it. It's not just ruining the fun for the campaign heroes who play the objectives, but it also kills all the remaining PvP. If the last Imperial keep flips after midnight you might as well just go to bed, because that's where the enemies are going.

Oh well, first it was AD, then it was EP, and now it is DC. I am sure that soon it will be the yellows' turn again and we will have gone full circle.

I know right, they always bring up those points but forget to mention that alot of the players who do this also play during primetime, and my sleeping-rythm hasn't been good latley since I'm off from work and I see these dudes every day every time, doesnt matter if its 5 in the morning or primetime

I didn't deny it, I don't know since I work 6 days a week and normally dont get on until midday earliest and later I ever play it's about 1am

I'm saying I don't care and I know everyone does it, it's now a part of the game, nothing you can do about it so no point getting upset/annoyed at it, maybe shout at your factions late nighters or slacking and letting those blues push them around

The ironic thing about it is that many of the same people who used to complain in /zone about the red night-capping half the days of every week a few months ago now aren't bothered about it when it's their alliance doing it, some even defending it when you call them out.

I just remember when AD and then EP used to nightcap the main campaign, DC/EP then DC/AD were complaining about that and the nightcapping faction was using those exact argument to defend themselves. Now DC does it and they defend their behaviour with the same arguments they once hated and rejected LOL

So DC proves its worth once again. After a few days of not morning/night capping, they are back at it strong. Their lead started to melt away, hardly managing to to keep their home keeps standing during the day, so the time has come to go again, and kill NPCs all night long.... Shameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

At the end of the day, people play the game in different ways.
Even during EU primetime when guilds are playing the campaign, you get zergs running around farming AP not caring about losing keeps etc.

That's up to them, no-one has the right to tell anyone how to play the game.

Leave alone those poor pve players, isn't it obviously that pve locations are not enough in this game so they forced to come here and do some Cyro Cap Trial.
