Crafted Jewlery Sets

I'm sure it's been mentioned in the past, but are we ever going to get the chance to craft jewlery?

I'm a 'Master Crafter' and now I've got everything just about researched I kinda want something else to work on.

Ideally I'd like it to be a long grind to max out the jewlery skill line, maybe having to find rare gems to combine to be added to a plain ring/necklace?

It would certainly allow even more flexibility with builds.

Has anyone heard anything about jewlery crafting coming to the game?

I haven't heard anything in the ESO live episodes about it but I wouldn't count it out. itwouldnt take much to fit it in with the existing system

It was discussed a long time ago by the long since departed Paul Sage on a podcast with some of the TF guys. I sincerely doubt it's on the table now, but it would allow for some more interesting build choices.

I don't think so. They want drop sets to be better than crafted sets.

We should be able to honestly.

The current end-game diversity for equipment is so minimal -- Seriously, it goes like:

5 Piece set
2 Piece monster set
3 Piece jewelry
Maelstrom Weapons

I doubt we will see this in 2016, I just hope spellcrafting comes in 2017 (not that im sure ill still play then)
The road ahead spoiled somewhat wich systems etc we will see in 2016, jewlery craft wasnt one of them.

The issue with jewelry crafting is... there just isn't all too much to craft right now. I mean, they would have what, righs and amulets to research and craft... that's it. Even woodworking has six items to play with... so I can see why jeweller was not added as viable crafting line.

Of course, that only means they'd have to find some more things a jeweller could work on. Which would be easy enough... there could be jeweller-made clothing items like crowns, circlets and such, perhaps also bracers... stuff that does not give normal armor boni, but some other bonus, perhaps?

Then they could also add an alternative weapon for destruction and restoration magic, same effects, different visurls. I keep wishing for such a "spell Focus", in the form of holy symbols, ornspellbooks, gemmed skulls, shamans rattles, meditation crystals, etc. - would be right up a jewellers alley I think...

Take those two ideas, and we'd be up at eight things to craft. Making jewerly crafting quite viable as crafting skill line. They only would need to make it so... we can hope they might, someday!

I think they could just add the jeweler crafting line. Why? because it would help people trade with their crafts. Right now most i know have maxed out all their crafts and therefore not interrested in other peoples crafting levels. You are gonna have a hard time earning money on crafting as it is. If we make more of it it will make it harder to complete everything and therefor encourage trade. Research isnt gonna be a problem since its Health, Magicka n stamina. More options are welcome if you ask me tho! As @Kammakazi said, the devisity in the endgame layout is minimal. Jewely crafts would help on that.

I realy wish that "Jewelery craft" will be in game... but ONLY if there was new sets, just for those items.
In other words:
7 pieces of Armor
1 hand weapon
1 Shield
2 rings
1 Neck

12 items. 2 full current sets + 2 pieces of third set.
It never will be balanced
