Defensive Stance Can't Reflect Howl?

Every single time I fight a WW, Defensive Stance doesn't reflect their howls back. What's weird about that is Dragon Fire Scale can reflect it, so it's definitely a problem with the skill. Then again, I could be wrong and it may be working properly. I've even dueled players that turned into a WW during the battle and it wouldn't reflect a single howl. My character would just be looking glossy the entire time until the skill wore off.

Dk wings reflect all projectiles including stamina.PS4 EU DC
Current CP : 756+
I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.
