Legerdemain Clothing

I took some time putting this together but I wanted to show people who haven't given the legerdemain clothing a chance what is available.

A lot of the Crown Store costumes tend to morph player body shapes and are currently un-dyeable. For the RP player this isn't much good. However, the free, stolen clothing fits perfectly and are completely dyeable! :smile:

Obviously they don't fit over armour, so they're really just for walking around the town or trying out new styles.

I'd also like to hear if there's any I'm missing or any other stealable clothing you'd like to see! Maybe hats? More area-specific clothing?

    I have indeed! For that achievement you need every armour slot filled, so legerdemain clothing misses a belt and hat.

    To get the achievement just steal a hat and belt from a shopkeeper to complete the set.

    I love that legerdemain clothing was added by one of the programmers as a sort of side-project that they decided to keep in. it's this kind of creative passion ESO truly needs. Whoever that was... give them a cookie!
    What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

    I also personally have a lot of them stacked in my personal guild bank and use them for my characters or sometimes even sell those I have too much of.

    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Yup :). Once you dye them, it becomes bound. If this is not an issue to you, go for it!

    Also belts are the ONLY thing that you can't find out in the open...

    I just use Armor that I can find in many different places. I tried over a couple of nights to do this with mostly clothing and could never get a set to do it with. Then I looked at the armor, said, "Hmmm, I wonder...." Grabbed a complete set in about 30 seconds and punched a guard in the nose* and got the achievement.


    *OK, I stole something from a few crates while not sneaking. Ironically it took about 5 crates before anyone even noticed me, probably because I was trying to get caught.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    I had to work hard to find a belt to steal. I have only ever come across them in trunks.

    Same, I've got 2-3 of each. no belt or hat.

    It's honestly way easier to get this by stealing full suits of armor from merchant stands, and then digging up the belt on your own time.
