Are the DLC's any good?

Hey guys,

I have a lot more time to play ESO and I'm considering renewing my ESO membership ato get access to the DLC's. Are they any good in terms of questing and rewards?
Tigerlion - Khajit Nightblade - Escaped from the slavers life and freed by Dark Brotherhood. Now an agile assassin and loyal servant of the Brotherhood.

Jaymor Bloodthirst - Imperial Dragonknight - A powerful Imperial warrior whose loyalties lie with the Pact after the fall of Cyrodiil and the Empire.

Zelma - Bosmer Nightblade - A lonely thief who escaped from her norm life in Valenwood in the hopes of finding hidden treasures and wealth.

Orsinium is great for questing. Some very well written quests and visually lovely.

Imperial City - aesthetically gorgeous. Interesting story. Hope you like being ganked. Two great dungeons. I personally enjoy it.

Orsinium is great, if you like the regular zones you'll love Wrothgar.

Imperial City is hot and cold depending on who you talk to. Do you have a nightblade and like to gank people? IC is literally nightblade heaven. Not a ganker? Might not be the most fun for you. There are specific items that you can only really get in IC, however, so it's worth spending at least a little time there.

If you like PVE Orsinium is freaking awesome. My favorite zone in the game by a long shot.

People have mixed feelings about Imperial City. Personally on the whole I like it enough to keep going back every now and then, but it definitely has its flaws. The group dungeons in it are good and difficult, and the main storyline is really cool. Grinding there can be lucrative, but can also be frustrating if you're getting ganked frequently. Doing the daily district quests can be fun, or frustrating, depending on how it goes. Every now and then there'll be some really fun PVP in there, but most of the time the PVP there is just getting ganked.

I'd suggest you get a one month sub to check them out. Don't spend the crowns you get with your sub. At the end of your sub you can decide if you think either (or both) of the DLCs is worth buying outright, and you can put your subscription crowns towards that purchase. If neither of them is to your liking, then hang onto the crowns and do the same thing again when the next DLC comes out.

IC was great for about 7 days. Now PvP is rare therein; its mostly a PvE grindfest.

Orsinium is good for casual questing. If you want to try its end-game content, be prepared to lose 3 mice, 1 keyboard and half of your sanity.

Orsinium is great, grand scenery, neat quests for about two veteran ranks worth of XP, nice dailies to earn scaled rewards from (one solo dwelve, one groupy world boss - be aware, the WBs there are not like the ones you met before! Waaaay more fun!), two nifty public dungeons to play in, a hidden treasure hunt... all together worth every crown.

IC... well, as has been stated, its gankmaster central. And even the PvE is more then many can deal with - the whole place is near the edge of solo-ability, with some spikes well above it, so its more a place for small groups or big zergs. But there is good XP to be had, and TV stones (if you get them safely to your bank beforte the inevitable gank) to buy nifty stuff.
I generally dislike PvP a lot, and ganking especially (even when I am the one to do it because I have to...) but even so, I found IC to be worth going to every once in a while...

I recently created a new Bosmer Nightblade character. She is currently Lvl 8. Do I need to be at a higher level to play the DLC?

You have to be level 10 to go to Cyrodiil and Imperial City. Not sure about Wrothgar but I think the same holds true.

They will be harder primarily because you won't have access to a lot of leveled up skills and the skill points to use them and the various passives. You'll be battle-leveled to be the equivalent of a VR15 character in other respects (your stats, the effectiveness of your gear), but you'll still have a harder time of it than a higher level character who has access to more skills.

Orsinium I haven't really gotten into, but visually it's an awesome place and great even just running around in.

I have a love-hate relationship with IC. I loved the story, but needed to cheat and have others clear two of the district bosses for me since I was solo. If you have a group even better because the xp is fantastic. However, I also resent that I have to go there to get certain things, and that drop rates are so low you can feel the grind. Also, the primary style of PvP there feels cheap and means you're always on alert, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Actually, my first run through Orsinium on my orc I took a very long time, because I kept on spending time just wandering off and admiring the scenery... I was chatting with some friends about it while playing one time and they kept on asking if I was baked lol. I wasn't! I just really like the zone!

I skipped IC because I don't care for PVP.

I bought Orsinium the day it was released and have thoroughly enjoyed it but with this caveat.

There are annoying bugs that have been in the DLC since its release on the PTS and are still not fixed.

Long, long, long loading screens. Randomly occurring which really screws things up when grouping and doing world bosses. Log back in to find the boss is dead and the group is onto the next.

Disappearing quest givers that plant themselves into the ceiling when collecting or handing in quests in Skalar's Hostel outside of Orsinium. Re-logging fixes it but it is a pain in the ass and has NOT been fixed yet.

Crashes at the crafting tables in the town of Orsinium. Any of the crafting tables can and does randomly crash the game for me at least once a day while doing writs. Still NOT fixed.

If you can get over those three bugs and enjoy PVE you will probably like Orsinium.

I would say sub for a month try them both out and take it from there.........

As for the bugs in Orsinium.........

I have never crashed at a crafting table and I do many, many writs per day there.

Never had a quest giver in a wall or ceiling but know those that have.

The long loading screens have completely gone for me after the fixes that ZOS put in place.

IC I really like and that surprised me as I am not a PVP-er usually, I found the added risk of being ganked a bit of an adrenaline rush.

The sewers(underneath the city) are now one of my favourite areas for just killing stuff, collecting trophy's and amassing easy CP's :)
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

Orsinium has battle levelling, so no matter how low you are, you'll be BLed to V15 to be competetive against the mobs.

Of course, it still gives out the best rewards if you are actually level 15-16, and it would be prudent to wait until then... but... the story is just so neat, I doubt many could wait to play it through at least once, even if their main isn't yet at that point ;)

there is a way to become at least 90 % of time gank-free IC. When I log in to a campagn with least enemy players (max 1 stripe), and more players of my faction

Orsinium is worth it just to scavenge materials. I was over IC in 5 minutes though I do occasionally visit for XP and to get stabbed
